Color Match is Good. Adhesion is fair
This product works well if you perform prep with rough sponge, open up the poors with a prep-spray, and apply generous amounts,, on the seating surface and back surface. I have found it does not work that well on the side surface of the bottom part of a seat, even with proper flawless prep. That part of the seat experiences extreme flexing during entry and exit of the passengers, and this product just does not have enough flexibility and adhesion even with top notch prep to stay adheased. It ends up flaking off of the sides of the bottom cushions. Perhaps another product can do better, I hope so, because in the end this did work for reconditioning top and bottom upper services, but did not work for bottom cushion side surfaces. I used SEM soap, scrubbed off all oils, dulled the original finish, and prepped with SEM Leather Prep. (In a second try, I repeated with SEM Vinyl Prep which is harsher). None of the prep and use of this product allowed the material to stay attached to the side of the bottom cushion. The task just requires more flexibility and more adhesion then the SEM product available in CA state can provide.

Excellent Product - Magic in a Can
I purchased two cans of this color of SEM coating to restore all of the melting and discolored vinyl trim panels in my 2008 Lexus LS 460 as this one was the closest color match to the original black color of the interior, and it made the car's interior look as good if not slightly better than it did when it was new and stopped the melting and "sweating" of the TERRIBLE vinyl Toyota used in this batch of cars. The coverage and durability is excellent and the color has remained a rich, deep black even through getting wet at times (top parts of the door panels in the rain) and being exposed to the 100+ degree Fahrenheit heat and high humidity that occurs during the summer in the Oklahoma City, OK area. Since it worked so well on the black vinyl, once time allows, I'm planning to try it on some of the more worn out leather parts in the car as well. You have to be patient to use this product, and be willing to mask off / disassemble the parts you are coating with it, but the results are worth it. Just be sure to follow all the application directions on the can, and clean the substrate with the SEM soap and Vinyl Prep before applying the coating so that it will adhere properly.
