Know Your Traffic Signs Unknown Binding – December 1, 2009

Great! Very useful!! I studied this book prior to my trip to Great Britain, I also watched some driving videos on YouTube. I do feel like these resources helped me to learn how to drive on "the other side of the road!" and to feel more comfortable as I learned how to navigate a very different system for driving!

If you don't want to violate traffic rules, you've got to know what the signs mean! So helpful when driving oneself in unfamiliar territory!

We're planning to rent a car in the U.K. so I need to study beforehand.

My daughter recently had her 17th birthday, this meant it was 'learning to drive' time. First point of call, after getting her provisional licence, was to book the theory test. We got a test date three weeks into the future and then looked to see what would be the best revision guides for her. After a bit of research, the DVSA's own trilogy of books i.e. Theory Test, Traffic Signs and Highway Code, seemed to be the obvious choice. So we bought them all (and the official DVSA Apple App, for the hazard videos).Result? Passed first time. According to my daughter, she would not have done so without these books (and the app), so 5* rating it is.

I now know so many different signs after reading through this book. It literally has every single sign you can possibly see in the UK.Now when I go around streets and see traffic signs I literally say something like "Oh, that sign means..." And it feels awesome to do so!

Well I passed so very please. Definitely would suggest getting both this book as well as the original high way code will really help when trying to get through your theory test will teach you so much more that just the highway code alone. Very helpful

This is a great book to reference all the UK signs, useful if you are doing your theory test, or going for any advanced certification. I bought the Kindle electronic version, one minor problem is that the pictures are too small to see properly on my iPhone 6 (Don't think my eyes are that bad!) and if you resize the text, the pictures stay the same size. I can see them much better on my PC or iPad.

I bought this as part of my preparation for the advanced driving test - and to be honest I didn't find much within it that isn't either obvious or already within the basic Highway Code.
