Burn Less Coal to Power Your Stuff AND Jumpstart a Small Car with this Amazing mPower Product!
As a happy customer of the original mPower JumpIt it didn't take a lot of convincing for me to decide that the Mini JumpIt would probably be a wise investment as well. When it arrived I made sure it had a full charge, which takes about two hours according to the manual. It came with a factory charge but subsequent charges have proven this to be true. I decided the best way to put this item to the test would be to charge my cellphone. I stil own the original HTC Evo (I know, I know. I'm behind the curve as far as phones go) but a while back I purchased the Sanoxy 3500mAh Extended Battery + Black Cover for HTC Evo 4G which can be seen here: http://www.amazon.com/SANOXY%C2%AE-3500mAh-Extended-Battery-Black/dp/B0042TY68C/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1405487333&sr=8-2&keywords=evo+batteryIt normally takes about four hours for my phone to fully charge once depleted using my computer's USB charging cable and the battery can easily last all day and night with moderate use. I decided to see how long it would take the Mini JumpIt to charge my Evo completely AND see how many charges I could get out of a single two hour charge. First, the Evo was fully charged from depletion after about two hours, so the charge time has already been cut in half there. High five to mPower! I did have to turn the Mini JumpIt back on after the first hour as it seems to have an auto shut off mode. Also, my battery is over twice the normal capacity as the Evo's original 1500mAh battery, so the manual likely is not incorrect in claiming that it will fully charge a cellphone in about one hour. The second huge high five to mPower goes to the fact that I got not one but THREE full charges for my Evo in three successive days from the one single two hour charge the Mini JumpIt required to become fully charged itself. That means most cellphone users will be able to charge their phone for almost an entire week off of a single two hour Mini JumpIt charge. That is great news when you consider how much extra coal we burn as a society just to power our stuff, AND it is also great in case one should ever find themselves in an emergency situation where they may need to charge their phone more than once and have no other power alternative.I do not own a tablet so I can not make any claims to how many times nor how fast one can charge an iPad, Kindle Fire or similar device. If someone could perform the test I would love to see the stats. Now, as far as jumping a car, I found myself in a position this last Friday to put the Mini JumpIt to the test. A person's small six cylinder Ford was unable to start at my workplace and they had drained their battery completely. I decided to try the Mini JumpIt first to see how well it would handle the situation before unleashing the power of the original JumpIt. After several attempts the car unfortunately would not start, neither with the help of the Mini JumpIt nor the original JumpIt. BUT it was not because they did not deliver enough power to the battery. Both units gave the battery plenty of juice to turn the engine over multiple times each. The problem was due to the engine not getting fuel and I believe they may have run out of gas from what I overheard the owners of the vehicle discussing. Had the fuel and ignition system been fully operational that car would have started the very first time I hooked the Mini JumpIt up to it. This thing is a beast! For those who may not have seen my review for the original mPower JumpIt, please allow me to quote some very important information from it that people may want to consider when choosing a jumpstarter / charger."The first thing people should know about this product is that the manufacturing company, mPhase Technologies, Inc., has re-invented the battery with patented nano technology and has just won the 2013 Frost & Sullivan Best Practices Award for North American Technology Innovation in Advanced Batteries on June 20, 2014. The video presentation can be viewed here: http://vimeo.com/frostsullivan/review/76639321/a1df4fed01They have also just renewed for another 3 year Cooperative Research and Development Agreement with the U.S. Army Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center. This info can be found on BusinessWire.com here: http://www.businesswire.com/news/njcom/20140619005038/enYes, when it comes to purchasing products for safety or emergency use I do a LOT of research on those products and the companies that offer them BEFORE I buy. While other jumpstarting products do exist and might get the job done in a pinch I personally put my faith and trust in a company that is winning awards for its tech and working with our military."Do your own research, but if you are in the market for one of these babies I highly recommend mPower's line of products. They do the job, and then some!

SCARY PURCHASE. ALMOST CAUGHT ON FIRE.
Used this for the first time yesterday to start a motorcycle. It almost caught on fire. It heated up and the case expanded. I would like a refund. Called the number in the box out of service. Other 800 number no answer.....are they out of business? Hope so.

It has good jumping power
It has good jumping power, for charging my cell phone(iPhone 7) I can only get 4 charges before the mini needs a refresh. I was hoping for more than that. I like the compact size, it stores almost anywhere. The product will serve me well for jumping my atv when out in the field.

MUST HAVE!
I bought this for my husband last year for his birthday. He LOVES it. He has charged our golf cart battery, jumped several vehicles including his Silverado and his buddy's motorcycle. He constantly uses it to charge his phone and other devices. This is highly recommended!
