outdated and more about table manners than social skills
I was hoping for a social skills board game to use with my kids with Autism. Instead of useful social skills, this deals more with outdated stuff like how to hold a call from a landline, how to properly eat asparagus, and what spoon to use for what. The game has rules that don't make a ton of sense (picking up friends and report cards that in the end don't matter for scoring.) Overall, I was pretty disappointed.

Great to use in school group sessions
I am a school social worker and I love using this game with my middle school students. Some of the questions are not as relevant as they once were in regards to telephone or table manners. They are good skills to learn, but just not as important as interpersonal school skills. However, even the questions about where a glass goes on the table or how to answer the telephone become a teachable moment with my students.

Meh. Ok, fine.
My sister told me to get this for her kids for Christmas. I said ok. Now my nieces and nephews hate me. Not really the effect I was going for.

Great simple game for the family
Great simple game for the family! We like to play it with our kids. Some of the game cards teach the kids new things, and some are great reminders!

Blunders Game Review
I chose this game to use in social work groups in an elementary school setting. I needed a game that was easy to play that was enjoyable and taught social skills concepts. This game fulfilled all of these. The children enjoyed the game. I played it with children who displayed deficits in the area of social skills. The box says ages 5 and up, but I found with these children, the age on the box didn't matter. I played it with 6th graders and they had fun too. I would highly recommend this game to others who work in a school setting.
