I really like this concept but has its limitations. I found this knife useful but not practical for many things you would expect from a small pocket knife. This knife should be viewed as a light utility tool and not as an actual knife for defense. Handle: is a bit flimsy as it bends. Plastic quality is not great.I had a pack of 3 and each blade is very different. 1 was extremely sharp and can be used as a make shife facial razor. Another was fairly sharp but had a rougher jagged finish. The last one was a disappointing finish that will need to be sharpened by hand. Sharp knives are safer and cut more predictably.Overall I am happy with the knife and will use it fairly often, but I am not so optimistic about the durability of the knives. They will be a nice conversation starter or interesting gift. Once these knives wear out or break I might explore other venders to see if there may be better quality blades and handles for this credit card design.

I purchased this product as stocking stuffers for christmas, they seemed to be a big hit and I was fairly impressed with the quality and sharpness. These are ideal for a backup knife to have on you at all times for opening packages, cutting rope, slicing paper, and could even be used to strike a ferro rod in a pinch. Anything past very light duty use is not going to work that well. The construction doesn't lend it's self to moderate or heavy use like constructing primitive traps, skinning animals, or many self-defense applications. Overall I am pleased with it for basic utility purposes and it was a good gift idea and a good price.

If you are looking for protection this isn't it....unless you are an oragami master! Yes sir, please wait 10 seconds before attacking me so I can get my knife out of my wallet, then fold it a couple times and make sure it stays....right. The knife is pretty cool if you need to cut a thread off or something. It is pretty sharp, and fun to fold. My husband loves it. 😉

Folds to the size of a credit card and slips nicely into a wallet behind a credit card. Easy to fold into knife position and is able to attend to small tasks such as cutting off tags and opening boxes/packaging.

plastic last resort

I've had a few different brands of these types of knifes and these are the worst ones I've ever used. I work at a winery and I open boxes all day long and the knife I had brought with me broke within about three weeks. The plastic is cheap and doesn't hold the blade steady. I would still highly recommend the folding knife but I would never recommend this brand, they are crap.

We gave out 5 of these as Christmas stocking stuffers. We played around with one and it seems alright, definitely not a sturdy every day pocket knife but it'll help you out in a pinch. I was very happy to see one of the recipients showing it off last night at a bar to one of his friends. He seems to really like it.
