Hollywood in Hoopskirts Paper Dolls

I was very disappointed with this paper doll book. Although the gowns were lovely there were only 8 in the book which makes it very expensive per gown.

Fun - brings back memories of the 'good old days' in Hollywood.

The dolls And the costumes are gorgeous in this paper doll set. There are two dolls and eight dresses. However there are no accessories included. Also the dolls are part of the back cover so when cut out it would destroy the cover. There are several paragraphs on the inside of the back cover about Hollywood in hoopskorst that would no longer be readable. Also there are no stands for IThe dolls. This is one of my biggest pet peeve's. The dolls are on very thin paperboard. However the dolls and the clothes have a beautiful matte finish. Each dress tells the actress who wore the dress, the movie and the year the movie came out. There are also a few paragraphs on the inside of the front cover about the artist. Set is not too bad for a collection. However I would not recommend it to play with.

Pretty illustration but not accurate. Nice if you just want pretty but not a good historical resource.
