🎉 Amplify Your Experience - Because One is Never Enough!
The Composite RCA S-Video Stereo Audio Distribution Amplifier Splitter Amp allows you to connect one AV S/Video input to four outputs, ensuring compatibility with both NTSC and PAL formats. It actively drives each output to prevent picture degradation, making it the ideal solution for long-distance audio-visual setups.

Slight video distortion
Worked great for about 3 weeks then a video "flutter" developed using S-video output. I checked all connections and even tried to use the RCA video jack versus the S-video jack, but had the same video flutter problems after a couple of minutes. I even powered down (removed power from) the unit and all attached components for about 5 minutes to let the unit cool down, but nothing changed. The audio was unaffected and worked fine. Good unit, but I think I just received a bad one...it happens from time to time. As always, Amazon was excellent about their return policy and procedures.

Great product for hooking up two or more TVs!
After searching all over Amazon, Radioshack, Best Buy and other shops I found this Composite RCA S-Video Splitter to fit my exact needs. It splits the AV signal from your cable box (mine is DirecTV)and allows you to view the same picture on two TVs. This option is useful if you have a large living room and want to have several people over but not all crowded over the same TV. The Splitter took 5 minutes, if that, to hook up and run the wires and instantly I received the signal on my secondary TV. I would highly recommend this product!!! It shipped the next day and I got it that same week too! It's simple to hook up and you don't need to look any further for a decently priced Splitter Amp that works like a charm. Two thumbs up!

Decent value
Does its job adequately, but it takes quite some deftness to change selections without shoving it backwards unless some means is implemented to prevent its movement.

Great distribution amp, mixes composite or s-video, still need audio wires
Great little distribution amp, worked perfectly. We wanted to give all of our tv's the ability to share the DVR from all rooms simultaneously from a composite output. We installed TV's under a kitchen cabinet, bathroom, master bedroom, and living-room so that we could move from room-to-room without missing anything, and without having to "pause" every time someone leaves the room. You can accomplish this easier with HDMI if all tv's are compatible, but we had s-video and composite on all tv's and since this amp seamlessly provides video between both connection types, it worked perfectly. Note: s-video does not include audio, you still need separate wires for video & audio (I learned this the hard way).

Incorrect S-Video output
I was excited to get one of these at such a low price, as I already own powered composite/component and HDMI splitters. Unfortunately it seems S-Video input converts in the box to composite (single wire) and is output as such even via the S-Video out ports, causing major checkerboarding and rendering the S-Video ports practically useless, at least for someone who prefers quality. I thought this would be a cheap solution considering most powered S-Video splitters run upwards of $50, but steer clear unless you need to convert your signal or split composite video.

Great for car DVD players
I purchased this splitter to use in my car to send out duplicate signals to 4 Philips 9" portable dvd screens. I had to purchase a car adapter for power and camcorder cables (4-pole 3.5mm to yellow/red/white RCA) to complete the kit. Just got back from a 3000 mile road trip and it worked prefectly. The box doesn't get hot and is easily tucked under a seat. As a side note, the splitters that are "car ready" only split the video signal so if you are trying to get audio and video you would need to go with something like this.

Is a functional option
Works okay but the amplification could be better. I am using for monitors on a surveillance system. Probably would go another direction in the future.

Worked like a champ..
I used this on a big production so the multiple staging rooms could see the show and be ready to send out talent. HD or high quality wasn't required and it worked great under the conditions. I doubt you will need the length we did but it ended up being 75' of cable to the spitter and another 50' to 100' to the tv's.I only used it on this 1 gig so I am unsure of the reliability over time, but it got the job done at a good price point.
