It's a good machine and does the job, but it'll take you twice as long to clean it as you do using it! If you plan on using this everyday, don't buy this model! There are so many little nooks and crannies, and spots that you cannot get anything into to get clean!

I love cuisinart my first one is still being used by my daughter and itโs 45 years old and works great. I got a new one but no difference they work great

Just got this yesterday and didn't have the chance yet to put it through the ringer. I got it to upgrade my old, cheap and basic Hamilton Beach food processor that has served me well for the last 8 years but is now on it's last leg and ready to go any minute now. First impressions are good. Quiet and powerful. Lighter than expected. Easy to clean. Feeding tube is spacious in comparison to the size of the bowl. Don't expect to put a whole apple through though, but I don't think any processor can actually do that. The blade is easy to remove once you're done thanks to an indentation on the top of it that you can easily grasp, which was an issue with my old HB. As for the size of the bowl, yes you can basically only put 9 cups into it but since I knew that when I ordered it, it is not an issue for me. Even 9 cups is still a good bowl size unless you're planning on making huge batches of whatever you're making. I find it sufficient. First time I used it I had some trouble not pureeing vegetables that I was trying to chop but looks like I just put too much in at once, if you want to chop things, they need space to actually move around. Looks like it will do a good job for making hummus and stuff. Will update my review as I use it more. The only thing that bothers me is the accessory caddy. I initially thought it would be a good idea to have a closed up container that can hold the blades and slicing disks but this thing is bigger than the actual machine and takes up more space. I got myself a small container from the dollar store for my accessories that takes about a quarter of the space in my pantry and still holds all the accessories. This caddy is so much unrecycable plastic that could have been saved. Stupid design.

Although the product works it is made of thin cheap plastic. We purchased one on Dec 18 2025 and in less than two months one of the locking tabs that holds the lid on broke. We have contacted their customer support via email but they have not responded for two weeks. We have called their support number twice but no one ever answers. They have a service to call you back rather than wait on hold but no one calls you back. This sounds like a company that hasn't gone bankrupt, yet.

I like it because it's simple, large enough, has only four buttons - you don't need a phone to run it. I used the shredder the first time to make cole slaw and it made a perfect product. One quibble is that the shreds got packed tightly into a ring at the top of the bowl inside a groove around the inside of the circumference of the lid, but It took only a little effort to remove with a spatula. In the early days I had a Cuisinart and after two other brands that I didn't like I'm so happy to be back.
