They have a film over each candle to protect them but it adds a black film that gets on everything once you remove them.Just wipe them off with a dry paper towel and they’re good to go.

Great candles. This is the second time I have bought them. The package is well packaged and not a single candle was broken. And the candles do not stain your hands, unlike other brands. I recommend these candles and will be buying them myself

Great deal for the price. Nice for Halloween or holiday decor. The diameter is definitely smaller than the 3/4 inches they state, had to wrap the base with some Saran Wrap to get them to stay. But they look super nice, can’t wait to use them for the table decor

I bought these because they were advertised as dripless and look at the huge mess they made… the drippiest candles I HAVE EVER USED! And they’re black… will never purchase from this brand again.

I have purchased these candles many times, and have not been disappointed.

I bought these for my candelabra for Halloween time. They looked great, except they are slightly smaller in diameter for the candelabra. No biggie… I melted the bottom to get them to fit. But the other issue is that the dye from them rubs off on your fingers and everything else it touches. Kind of a mess.

My main issue with these is that they have a fairly narrow base and were wobbly in my standard taper holders. I ended up having to wrap them in foil to keep them straight. Otherwise, good burn time: in a two and a half hour dinner, they burned less than half way down and only two of six had any dripping. Since my normal brand didn't have a black option, these were a decent alternative.

Burn quickly and don’t fit into standard candle holder. Base too narrow.
