I have used this chin strap nightly for 8 months. It is at the end of its life with fabric and foam falling apart. Surprisingly, the Velcro and other stitching all around are still intact, but it is nearly unusable due to being stretched out. For the $12 price, I have been happy with it and its design. However, having proven that the concept is workable for keeping my mouth mostly closed while sleeping, I will be shopping for a higher quality replacement.In judging whether this will be the right fit for your head, the circumferential measurement from my chin to skull upper-back and back around to my chin is about 28". The two Velcro adjustments are at their tightest position as needed to maintain jaw compression as the strap has worn over time. That compression is not quite enough to keep my mouth fully closed, but any more would irritate my chin or cause my jaw to ache.

After receiving this anti snoring chin strap, I wanted to give it a try at first night, it bothered me too much that I was about to return it because I have a mouth with full of beard and also a big head. It was not fitting with me then I wonder I didn't wear it properly. Then I decided to give another try by readjusting Velcro straps, repositioning chin strap, and used it for a few more nights and found it very effective. So glad I didn't send it back because my initial problem was not with the product. Day by day I find this stop snoring chin strap very comfortable now. The main reason I purchased the strap was that I'm a mouth breather during sleep and I would wake up a few times each night with my tongue and mouth completely dry, and before I could fall asleep. Now this strap keeps my mouth closed the entire night and I no longer wake up during the night for dry mouth or tongue.

I have one other chin strap with which to compare it. I did not like how that 1st strap fit near my ears, and the materials did not hold up properly, so I used to sweat but never got relief from mouth snoring. But this stop snoring chin strap did the job of keeping my mouth closed with a CPAP machine. This strap is much, much more comfortable to wear. The materials seem much more durable and it doesn't result to sweat. Even the Velcro seems to be made better; I'll be interested to see how well it continues to do, but I'm very pleased with this purchase.

This strap must have been made for a child! I am an average sized female - and not overweight. This strap wouldn't begin to fasten on top of my head. This is my second try - I give up.
