White filmy stuff on the ice cubes from these trays - REDUCED BY BOILING
I’m not enjoying these ice trays, as I have yet to use any cubes that I have frozen in them. The ice comes out with a weird white film on all of the cubes. Consequently, an ugly white film develops in the beverage and you can see white floaty stuff in the drink. I have frozen more than 10 batches of cubes but the ice still has the white film. I’m not sure what I can do with these ice cube trays to get rid of the white stuff — I have tried scrubbing the trays, soaking them, soaking them in a white vinegar solution and leaving them out in the sun. I like the concept of the covered trays, and for that feature alone I will give these 2 stars. Otherwise, I am not using them because I can’t enjoy a beverage or serve a drink with white floaty film in the liquid. I’m disappointed and I welcome any suggestions on how to get rid of the white stuff in the ice.EDIT: (Originally, I gave the ice trays only 2 stars out of frustration with the product). After communicating my frustrations with this product with the seller, GDREAMT, I received assurances that I could receive a full refund (without having to return the ice trays). GDREAMT recommended that I boil the ice trays for 10 minutes and then try making ice again. I am editing my original review of these ice trays now because, after boiling them, with the covers (though I don't know if that was necessary), I have not had any of the floaty stuff in my ice cubes. I felt confident that even if I did continue to experience cloudy film in my ice, GDREAMT would have refunded my money for the purchase of the ice trays. But I am happy to report that boiling the ice trays eliminated the weird stuff in my ice.

Soft and flexible
I had many ripe lemons at once, so squeezed them and froze cubes. Now I enjoy a cube each morning in hot water. These trays make the perfect size and are simple to manuever.

Great ice cube trays
I love these things. I didn't buy them to make ice, but to use them to save pulverized veggies and herbs and things like that. The cubes pop out perfectly by pushing on the bottom. They're 1x1" cubes.I food process broccoli stumps to add to soups, pasta sauce, and stir fry. My favorite thing to do is to peel ginger, food process it with some olive oil, and make cubes of minced ginger (only use enough olive oil to hold it together). It's SO convenient and way better than just keeping the root in the freezer. I haven't tried carrots yet but I will probably give it a go with some leftover carrots I have.I've also done cubes of parsley, cilantro, and basil. It's so much easier to have on hand than worrying about whether or not my grocery store will have fresh basil (they often don't), and then worrying if it'll go bad by the time I need it since I only go shopping every two weeks.I'm glad that they're dishwasher safe since it'd be a challenge to clean the residue olive oil from the cubes. If I need to, I also use them to save leftover tomato sauce, tomato paste, or beef or chicken broths. You can use these trays for so many things!

Great product.
Let me say, I am used to the cheap plastic ice trays, and these took some getting used to, however I love them. They are nicely made, they do a pretty go job at not spilling when they are being filled, you just have to be careful not to overfill and make sure the lid is on tight. The lid is also made of silicone, so it makes it a little difficult to make sure each side is fastened tight, but it stretches, so its not too much of a struggle. It may just look like its closed when its not. There is not residue, or weird smell or taste. The cubes are a bit small, you may have to use four or five instead of two like a normal ice cube tray produces, but I love this product a lot.

Easy, Durable, Bargain Trays
These are awesome ice cube trays!! I bought them specifically to make my dog fruit/peanut butter ice cubes for hot days of sitting outside and they’ve performed phenomenally! The silicone material is very durable and makes popping the cubes out easy. And the lids really help in preventing spills in the freezer—the only thing you have to be careful of is keeping them levelish and not putting anything heavy on top of them while the ice is still liquid. Once frozen, the tray is hard as a brick!I’ve left the aforementioned frozen treats in the tray for many weeks at a time as I portioned them out and the trays are still good as new. They are very easy to clean by hand— I haven’t tried the dishwasher but I believe they are dishwasher safe, silicone can withstand extreme hot and cold so that would make sense. Also, is a small, startup product and the customer service is also great. You can’t beat the price, and it’s always great to support small businesses, especially in this day and age!10 out of 10 would freeze again!

cute and functional
I love silicone ice cube trays over the old hard plastic ones because it is so much easier to get the cubes out and they don't crack or fly all over the place. These squares are obviously smaller than usual but I like them better. They fit into many more containers than the larger ones like water bottles with smaller openings and I think they just look adorable (weird that I am saying ice is adorable but...). The one thing to consider before buying these is that they are unstable when you fill them since it is such flexible material and if you aren't careful it will spill. This doesn't bother me and I put the lid it comes with underneath the add some support till I get it too the freezer, just an FYI in case someone has never used this type before.
