First thing right off the bat is this product is super responsive! I really enjoy how easy it is to take my phone in and out of the holder. It automatically detects the phone once you place it on the stand. There are also two sensors to release the phone if you need to. It is pretty much touch sensor based so you can glide over it and it'll automatically open and close. You have about three to five seconds to put the phone in before it closes again. The stand supports all the phones I have seen. Even if you do not have wireless charging this stand is great to have. It does get a bit warm so if you are planning to use this on the vent you should make sure not to have the heater on because you can cause damage to the device. It does support fast charging but the QI plug is not provided so you will need to purchase that separately to get the fast charging. It will support normal charging so do not worry if you do not want to get a QI charger however be aware that you are severely limited on charging. On normal charging it varies on the type of charger you are using. If you are able to use fast charging, I say it can fully charge your phone in about 2-3 hours on fast charging. Overall I think this project is great! It automatically opens and closes and provides your phone with good enough juice so you do not have to worry about your phone dying or needing to plug it in. Also if you have a CD player holder this will actually fit on there if you have a ball joint.

PROSThis is a fantastic car mount, I've taken my car careening into corners at 70mph and launched and slammed on the brakes, and this mount just won't let go, for that alone, it might be worth the money.CONSWon't charge through my compatible case (Mous 2.0) that other chargers will work with, you will need to purchase or own a high voltage car adapter (min 2.1a) or have a newer USB 2 or 3.0 port in your vehicle to provide enough juice for a decent charge. I take the phone out of the case and it works fine, but it's not a fast charge.OVERALL I do think it works as intended, the slower charge is likely due to it being underpowered and my case cant be compatible with every charger. Recommend that you have a high voltage adapter for best results.

Good for wireless charging of iphone in the car. Holds well to the vent fins, however the weight will pull the slats downward which is only mildly an issue but it grips the slats well and will not fall off. The automatic grabbing arms work well when you place the phone in against the holder but the release button may be too sensitive because sometimes it will open when I am using side buttons on the phone. All in all I bought this product based on positive reviews and it is working well for my needs in the car. I think it is a well made product.

The only issue I have with the product is that it is not compatible with a Samsung fast car charger, and needs a specific day car charger to use the day charge function. Otherwise everything else about the mount is next to perfect in execution.

I wanted to like this product so much.I had to buy/try several cases before finding one that it sometimes charges through.The biggest problem is that it drops the phone constantly. Hit a tiny bump the charging turns off and the phone falls out of the holder and under my feet, while I’m driving.Doesn’t matter if the phone is naked (No case) or not it stops charging and randomly opens the arms thus dropping my 1500.00 phone.Had to temporarily go back to my standard wiz gear “buttons” (round magnetic vent holders)slid a metal plate in between the case and phone for a temporary fix until I can get ahold of customer service..... I’m sure this is not how they intended the case to operate.

Originally gave it 1 star because it kept disconnecting (from my iPhone 11 Max Pro ) and reconnecting and not charging the phone every 10 seconds or so. I wanted to throw it out the window but talked with Wizgear customer service. They told me that the bottom arm was adjustable and extended downward. I extended it which brought the middle of my phone to where it apparently needed to be in order to charge. Just took it on a somewhat bumpy 30 min ride in my Jeep and it didn’t disconnect once. Glad they were able to help figure out my issues and now it’s perfect.

Got it out of the box and first time trying to set it up the attaching piece of plastic breaks. Obviously cheap crappy made in China product with a marked up pricetag.Very disappointing as as per Amazon I won't be able to get a replacement or refund for up to 15 business days, when I bought this on Amazon Prime as I intended to use it during my wedding trip in 2 weeks.Wouldn't recommend purchasing this item, the gimmick is not worth the quality to price ratio.
