From the Manufacturer Acrylicos Vallejo. The Vallejo Company was registered in New Jersey, U.S.A., in the year 1965. In these early years it specialized in the manufacture of colors for animated films (cartoons). The most sustained expansion of Vallejo started in the nineties, beginning with the introduction of new products directed at the Model painting and Hobby sector. The company became the first specialist in acrylic colors, with a long and varied experience in all aspects of this branch of manufacturing. Great Set - Lots of new fun for this old hand
This is the first time I am trying these paints after modeling for nearly 50 years and I can certify that they are wonderful. After watching a few videos on Youtube, I came across one where the painter was using one color right after another without cleaning his airbrush in between colors. He would simply pour back whatever remained of the last color and spray out the rest, then add his new color. With these paints, however, you do not need to monkey with adding dark brown or blank to make your OD deeper, or conversely add yellow or whites or whatever color to make your OD lighter. There are 5 modulating colors that when applied properly, make your model really pop.I'm adding a few photos of an up-armored M26 Pershing project I'm still working on. The model kit comes from Commander Series, and has all the usual issues when you work with resin. But I was eager to try this set out, so I went right to it. After applying an undercoat of Vallejo's primer black, I added white streaks with a paint marker (not recommended because it leaves thick paint streaks). Then I went to work with these OD Modulation colors. Base, then dark, then light, and the others as the instructions recommend. This is my first attempt, so I don't think it looks too bad if I do say so myself. Clearly, with practice, I will get better. What do you think?Next on this model, will come the panel line highlights, which I do with Tamiya Panel Lines black, then scratches and scrapes, and all the little bits that need hand painting. I will try to post more pictures as I progress.

Wrong olive green supplied
This came with the wrong colour olive green was more of a brown and the set was useless as this is the main colour. I had to order a separate model air olive green to use.
