Perfect
Husband uses this light every night to read. Recommend using batteries as the cord that comes with it isn’t very long. Light is VERY bright in all 3 modes. Clip is very sturdy and stays where you put it, positional arm also. Light is good size as well. Excellent purchase.

Perfect Size
Warm, adjustable, reading light with a diminutive footprint. Easily clips onto a book or otherwise. Uses 3 AAA batteries or can be charged; appreciate the flexibility. Three intensities of lighting. At night the lowest is perfect.

Lightweight, adjustable and battery operated.
This light is light weight, flexible, but sturdy with 3 brightness options. All this makes it very adjustable and plenty bright enough to read by with no other light. I liked it so well, I ordered a second one. The service was quick and reliable. I highly recommend this item & the company.

Great light for night flying in my airplane
So the built in panel lighting in my airplane is "OK" but I don't have adequate lighting for reading maps and checklists while flying at night. I've been looking for a red light that will save my night vision while reading a map at night. Couldn't find anything reasonably priced- the aviation suppliers sell red lights for $30-50 and up but with inexpensive LED lights all over the place it just seems ridiculous to spend that much money on a light that gets used infrequently. So when I saw this book light, with good reviews for only $7 I went for it. The light seems to be good quality construction, is compact and very bright- maybe too bright for some uses. Now remember- I wanted a red light and this one is not red but coloring in the lens with a red Sharpie marker solved that issue surprisingly well. I went flying last night and the thing is awesome. It clips securely to the glare shield and the gooseneck style mount lets me direct the light anywhere I need without blocking my view of the instruments. Nearly perfect but as I mentioned before its too bright- even on the lowest setting. So again, Sharpie marker to the rescue! This time I colored over the red on the lens with a layer of black sharpie and I think it's going to be perfect. The black didn't color the red over completely but it did cut the light down by about 1/3 to 1/2. It's still just red light coming through just not as bright, so I think it's going to be exactly what I need.

Great Book Lamp
It's lightweight, I especially like that it has three light settings and you can plug into USB port or use it with three AAA batteries

A book light for you and a laptop light for me
I bought this book light to use as a laptop light. It works fairly well at that with just one issue. I feel that it doesn't grip nearly enough. Of course I don't want it to have a damaging vise grip on my laptop but Lepower omitted one thing that could have made it better. There is rubber grip on only one the clamping surfaces. Because of this the light can slip and slide around a good bit with the slightest bump or shaking of the laptop. Of course it was not made for this purpose so take that into consideration. Still it seems like it would have been an obvious choice to add grip to both of the clamping surfaces.I like that this device can be powered over USB but I find it a little annoying running the cord from it to my laptop, so I've been sticking with batteries instead. It has pretty good battery life and I usually run it on the lowest setting. It's cool that it has different lighting temperatures that you can select from. I prefer the settingthat uses both the warm yellow LEDs and the white ones. The picture shows it with my overhead lights off and the book light set to the medium brightness level.I have not used this with a book at all and I doubt I ever will. I do the majority of my book reading on tablets in the dark or in daylight with paper books.

great for road trips
this does the right amount of light, on low, to light up notes and such while we are on the road at night. the ambient light did not distract my husband while he was driving and i was next to him reading stuff. its about the same effect of opening the glove box to shine light but this focuses on what you need and you dont have to try to stick your notes in the glove box, it also puts out less "light trespass" in the car. it was really great. i just clipped it onto an are in the truck and used it when it got dark. its also very hand to unclip and move around if you happen to drop something in the car LOL you know i did.
