Been looking for a backpack that is just the right size but also looks more professional. This is great size wise - I can fit my personal items (wallet, keys, makeup, etc) plus a water bottle, small umbrella, and my iPad Air. Cons: really hideous smell - it’s starting to fade but even after using it for a few weeks the smell is still there. I can’t even describe it, made me feel quite sick at first, but it is getting better little by little. The zipper pulls on the front are very heavy so, gradually, the zipper slides down - nothing has actually fallen out but I don’t put anything i can’t afford to lose in those pockets. The zipper to the main compartment doesn’t go all the way from end to end so there are significant gap if the bag is full and the side snaps are open; I am extra cautious on the street or public transportation as the gaps are large enough for a skilled pickpocket to take advantage of. Other than that I love the bag - I got the green and the co,or is beautiful.

Received my backpack today. Love the dark olive green color and the fact that the zippers and snaps are silver instead of gold. Zippers operate so smoothly and the snaps seem sturdy. It is a great size and has compartments inside that aren't that obvious in the pictures. As others said -it STINKS like fish. I truly hope it fades soon, not sure what will diminish it. It is such a nice design and color that I understand why others are willing to tolerate the smell. Maybe sealing it in a bag with fragrance sheets will help...I'll try something ;)UPDATE - I sprayed the inside and pockets with the Dryel odor releaser that came in the Dryel kit, then sat it in the sun a few hours. Also rubbed some on the surface since it's not real leather. Smell. Is. Gone! Sweet!!
