Beautiful but cheaply made
Product arrived without damage, it looks beautiful before and after installation. Here's the bad:The "metal" is really really cheap stuff so i wouldn't recommend putting it on an expensive guitar because you'll immediately decrease its value. I was reluctant to diminish the value on my Squier, and that's saying something...The holes for the strings on the bridge were not all drilled out, which I unfortunately noticed after installing it so i had to remove it completely to work on it and install again. Also there aren't pilot holes at the top portion to secure it down, only three holes at the base by the saddles. The saddles are also a little big so I would recommend using the ones already on your bridge so you don't spend hours adjusting the action, to no avail, like i did.The worst part was that the knob plate is a slightly tighter fit than my Tele stock pickups were, so I had to fold the connection between them (wasn't happy with that, but i made it work) in order to get the knobs to for through the plate and secure the nut.The screws provided were smaller than my stock hardware so i couldn't use any of them at all.Other than that, everything fit as expected and the pilot holes lined up with my existing screw holes on the body of my Tele. It looks beautiful, but anyone who knows guitars would be able to tell how cheap it is just by looking at it. This is great for a DIY (especially for beginners cause the metal is workable) and to spruce up a low end guitar you don't mind looking cheap to the discerning eye. My band members loved it though! They have known that Squier for years and enjoyed seeing it "upgraded" from its basic appearance.I'll upload a picture this weekend when we practice.
