Ahh...Crimp connections...
Let me preface this, The great majority of electrical problems are connections. Back when Crimp connectors were trying to break into industry, I asked an old engineer why they were going to crimps rather than the old solder pot. He answered: "Because they let you make hundreds more poor connections per hour". Now they are universal. In decades in automation and industrial electronics, I've replaced hundreds. Crimps put on with those weak scissors tools, crimps put on with needle nose pliers, even with visegrips, and the latest big thing, crimps put on with a multitool. And a variety of no-name terminals. The best terminals, put on with the proper tool on clean properly sized wire are adequate, just. I'm retired, just putting a trolling motor on my kayak. But this requires 10AWG wire and secure connections. Based on sad experience, did I go and grab one of those kits with 300 connectors and a crimper for only $10? No! My local big box store carries GB terminals, not cheap, but industrial quality. A crimper? I looked for one with an oval crimp because that's what works with GB terminals. They were out of line at the Big Box, so I came here. These are clones of the Pro crimpers, adjustable and had big handles for my arthritic hands. But the test came with trying the crimpers with GB terminals and my wire. That's a good crimp and a pull test destroyed the terminal. No mangled insulation.

They're ok
They got the job done, but I do think the price is still a bit high for what they do. Not to mention there were no directions. I was a first time user so that would have been helpful.

So much better than the old style ones I had
I like to have the right tools for the job. For years I have been using some old style wire strippers that I got in a toolset, but I always thought they were rubbish. Then I bought this style and they looked so much better. I won’t get frustrated & the job will be a lot more pleasurable.

handles fall off
tool works as it should but the yellow handles fall off all the time. i work on boats and having the handle fall in the bilge is a huge issue

Inadequate Crimp
Not only is the middle (blue 14-16g) die labeled with a green dot, but with the factory setting it did not adequately and reliably crimp butt connectors, allowing the wire sometimes to slip out.On one connector, I had to use the red die to get an adequate crimp. With the star wheel adjuster all the way to +, the crimp was marginally better.

Heavy and does not completely crimp fittings
I thought when I purchased this heavy duty looking crimped that would get a far more secure connection than my old cheap pair that came in the DIY kit from long ago. I was wrong. These do not make a secure crimp. Ive gone back to my old cheap pair.It has now been 30 days since I sent this review with no response from seller. I wonder is they even care about my satisfaction?
