Much better than expected
Really impressed, definitely works best with two people doing the job. It’s a good safe way of cutting trees and saves the cost of paying for a tree surgery

Chain saw rope reiew
This is the third chain saw rope product I've bought. The first two I've bought off Ebay. The first and most expensive one was from the USA and worked well until it got stuck or broke (I can't remember), the 2nd one was a chinese copy of the first which worked but wasn't as good as the first. This current product is of a good quality but I wish I hadn't of bought. The ropes are 5m long and the way its set up means it can only cut branches 3-5M off the floor. I think the ropes need to be longer, or at least one or them which will allow the product to reach higher branches plus the previous 2 products have had a extra weight to direct the chain saw blade toward the wood. I do like the way you swing the rope over the branch and then connect the chain saw, which is easier but it does restrict the height of the branch you can reach. I'd only buy this if you only have a couple of branches if you have more than that use a ladder. If you have many branches to cut like myself, I'd consider a different product unless easily acceptable/ not close to other branches.

Would not work for me.
Bought this to prune high branches of beech tree overhanging my garden. Very disappointed as it was effectively useless. I tried cutting branches 3-4 inches diameter and after a few strokes the saw jammed solid. I tried various angles but each time it just jammed and I was forced to abandon the job. It may be better with two people but I doubt it. It may be OK in some situations but not in mine.

Don't waste your money
This product comes in a nice bag and looks to be reasonable quality. The problem is it just doesn't work! When you try to cut any branch more than 1/2 inch thick, the saw just jams in the branch. You can literally swing on the pull cords and it won't budge. So, a great idea in theory, but rubbish in real life.

Good quality
I used the saw to take down big branches on a tree in my back garden it kept getting stuck but I think it's because the saw is for dead Tree braches.

Cuts well
Good saw watch it doesn't get dug in if cutting at height. But sharp teeth and did the job
