Love it for my cold sores.

Think this ointment works quite well and helps treat cold sores very well -Good idea to have the double pack , allows you to have a spare tube in reserve !

If you get Herpes cold sores on your lips/mouth, this is the cream to get. It's very expensive, but if I put it on as soon as I feel that little tingle, it definitely helps better than anything else I've tried. The sore may still come up, but it stays small, and doesn't hurt as much. Before Abreva, my cold sores used to last at least two weeks and get really disgusting looking and feeling. Now, with Abreva, they only feel yucky for a couple days and heal within the week, which is so much better.

As with most topical medications, the sooner you begin to use it the better it works. It is a very tiny tube. Thank goodness only a minuscule amount of salve needs to be applied each time. It has always worked well with a blister which recurs in the corner of my mouth.

Wish I could find medication that works as well that isn't so expensive! I have to use this stuff about twice a year, and go through a bottle each time.
