Best hats ever!
This is the 3rd time I have purchased this hat. Once was a replacement for a lost hat, once just to have an extra one and this time just to have one in another color! These hats are amazing. They have a longer bill which is great for better sun protection. The bill tri folds for easy travel and backpack carrying. It is very easy to adjust the head band and they are very comfortable and look great on!

No sweat lines!
I have worn these hats (I now have three) hiking in Utah, Maine, Florida, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. With most cotton hats, after one hike they have that gross, white, salty, sweat line. Not so with these hats. They look good as new. I love that even more than I love how easy they are to fold up and tuck in my purse, backpack, or pocket, which I suppose is their claim to fame. They are cool to wear and I got no sunburns even in the desert. I wore sunscreen too, but I am sure these hats helped, especially in the 85° heat. Two thumbs up.

Decent.
This is the best trifold ball cap I could find. The bill is a bit longer than the others. it’s quite comfortable. Super easy to tuck it into a pack or a pocket without damaging it.Still lots of room for improvement.Needs better ventilation. It’s a bit stuffy.Needs a longer bill (or an option for a longer bill)Needs darker fabric under the bill regardless of hat color. I’d love to buy a lighter color that absorbs less sun but couldn’t due to the under brim colors matching the rest of the hat.Adjuster in back catches hair. Just use Velcro.

Great hat for hiking or traveling
The brim is a bit longer than a standard ball cap, which is great for sun protection. The adjustable strap in the back is a bit long but it does allow a lot of adjustment of the size. I’m not sure how long the clasp on the back will hold up as it seems to be made of a very lightweight material. The best part of this hat is the ability to fold it and stick it in a pocket when it’s not needed. Great for hiking and travel.

Folds well, easy to store and returns to correct shape
This hats fold small so it folds easily into my purse and it is comfortable to wear. I have only spot cleaned it but it seems to be holding up well.

I love traveling with this hat
A foldable hat is great, and I love that this hat is all black with no branding. But I don't wear this hat because of quality issues. Here are some advantages of this hat:- It looks like a normal hat, for the most part.- No branding, just a subtle embroidered "UPF 50+" on the side.- Folds up to fit in my pockets- Extra long bill keeps the sun out of my eyes- Dries very quickly after it rains- This will resist rain, but standing water will soak throughThere are some downsides:- The adjustable headband is poorly designed. There's a slit to tuck in the band so it doesn't flop around. But the band is too short, so the band untucks very easily. I also had to fix the slit when I first go the hat for this to work at all.- The folding seams in the bill don't quite line up. This causes the hat to look a bit crooked.- The longer bill is noticeable, so this doesn't quite look like a normal hat. It also blocks more of your field of view for things like stop lights.Instead of this hat, I use FITKICKS Folding Cap w/UPF 50+ Sun Protection, Quick Dry, Breathable, Baseball Cap Style - Black. It addresses all the problems this hat has. The only downside to Fitkicks is that it has a small amount of branding.I recommend Fitkits, but if the branding bugs you, then this is a decent alternative.

Nice Pocket Hat
Fits well and is very versatile. Would work well for trips where one wants to limit how much clothing is packed. Especially good for motorcyclists.

Chemical Smoke Odor In Fabric
Unwrapped the factory packaging and tried on the hat only to discover that my hands absolutely reeked strongly of smoke. The best I can describe the odor is a cross between very strong cigarettes and a chemical fire. It was not some faint odor, it was so strong that it transferred onto my skin, and I had to wash my hands immediately. Unfortunately, I kept smelling the odor and then realized it was in my hair, and even washing my hair didn't get it all the way out as I kept smelling that smoke throughout the day. It was just a nasty experience. Regarding the construction of the hat, the bill is exceptionally long, and was three pieces of plastic captured by the fabric that would fold longitudinally. However, the plastic bill material was permanently rounded and would not flatten sufficiently, causing the outside corners to dig into my forehead. It would be okay for someone who likes a very rounded style bill. I wear my caps with the bill about halfway between rounded and flat so it's comfortable on my forehead, but there's no way to work the plastic flatter on this hat. The quality and texture of fabric seemed nice, but the overall volume of the cap was sized for a giant's head. I wear a 7-3/4" hat and the fabric was just way too large and baggy, even more obvious when the strap was adjusted. Overall, impression... even if it didn't reek of smoke, the overall form and fit just wasn't comfortable. I returned it.
