Used the spotting scope today for the first time st shooting range. Results are erhhh!!My biggest issue is the same others have stated…the tripod really isn’t decent. In fact I’ll be looking for a better tripod. Because the factory tripod is just…not stable.The actual spotting scope is okay…it appears so. But sitting at the shooting bench the tripod…it just won’t keep the scope stable..it’s hard to use the attachment finger screw. It just won’t turn and had to thread the spotting scope on by rotating the scope..that’s not good!! It’s just clumsy.Further…using the adjustment lever..it won’t tighten down enough to stabilize the scope plus the rotation that allows side swing..well..it swings alright. No tension there at all.I dunno…I wouldn’t buy this spotting scope again but entirely because of the tripod. Mostly. Because the spotting scope..well..can’t judge much because revert back to tripod…!

I got a steal on this when it was 180 as the price fluctuates often for some reason. The scope is amazing. Comes in a hard case with a soft carry case and has a small table tripod as well. it seems cheap but for me at the range it works perfect. I was pleasantly surprised how well I can see my targets using the Shoot N&C ones. I was using my .223 at 200-300 and could see them perfectly.
