sunjoy 60-Quart Red Beverage Cooler

I just received this and assembled it. Although manufactured in China, it seems very substantially made, with heavy-gauge steel in the legs, and good quality welds. The paint finish is excellent, and the parts fit together well. Assembly was fairly easy, and (with respect to the lady who one-starred it) mine had all the parts. I didn't even bother with the assembly guide; it was all pretty intuitive.Incidentally, the screws for holding the bottle opener were already in place, but difficult to remove. Be careful, or you'll end up stripping the head or even worse, slip out of the head and scratch the paint with your screwdriver. Also, as you're tightening down the three bolts for each leg (an allen wrench is included) be sure you rotate through them rather than tightening one bolt all the way and then moving to the next; otherwise, the legs may splay a bit. It's easier if you run the bolts in once and then remove them before attaching the legs.A couple of notes, not really complaints, but things that are not clear from the photo or description:1) The two sides of the lid are attached to each other, but not to the cooler itself. This may actually be an advantage, since you could just load it up with ice and drinks and leave it sitting without the lids.2) It is not apparent from the single photo, but this is NOT glossy as you might think. In fact, the matte finish looks so much like plastic that I had to test it with a magnet to be sure it wasn't.3) I like the style of this cooler and its red curved legs better than some similar ones also available (at a slightly lower cost) on Amazon, but it is a good bit smaller overall, measuring 31 inches high and only 26 inches long (29 inches including the handle.) Its 60-quart size should not be that much mores restrictive than the other brand's 65-quart capacity, but if this is also going to serve as a "decorator piece," be aware that is comes off looking a bit undersized. That's the sole reason I didn't give this cooler five stars.4) I paid about $136 for this including shipping, which was only about $6 more than the "Rolling Outdoor Patio Deck Party Cooler 65 Quart Capacity" (which had a much lower price but much higher shipping.) Despite the smaller size, I'm satisfied with that just because of the more "retro" styling. However, I would NOT recommend paying the original list price of $189 plus $18 shipping; it's not worth that much.

Works great to use for the day or for a night. Don't expect the cooler to keep things cold for much longer than 24 hours. Also mine was a bit bowed at the middle so the top kind of sits loose - I'm going to try to use a large clamp and see if I can't bend it into place.

Very cute ice chest. It also keeps ice for over 24 hours even in high temperatures. I purchased this as a late Father's Day present and used it on the Fourth of July and it was a hit. Lots of compliments. It is made of durable plastic and is very easy to clean. It was super easy to put together. Only took about 5 minutes. When we went out the next evening, there was still quite a bit of ice in it! I am impressed!

Little smaller than I like.

Good product for the money. Wish it was a little more stable though.

Smaller than I thought it would be and it came dented on one side. It was easy to put together.

Would be 5-stars, but it was dented when it arrived.
