I have been taking biotin for a variety of reasons - starting with my hair, which has been chemically treated and I just about wrecked some years ago. I needed to build up its strength again, even while continuing to bleach and dye. My hair today is stronger and not prone to breaking any more. Less split ends as well. This biotin supplement is easy to swallow and has no discernible taste. I also like that it is combined with coconut oil - which is a superfood.

This GenOne Nutrition- Extra Strength Biotin is great for long, strong, hard nails as well as thicker, longer, hair.Biotin is a B vitamin that is great for hair, nails and skin and I have been taking it for years. It makes my weak, thin, nail grow long and hard and it makes my thinning hair grow thicker and longer and shed less. I personally don't think it makes my skin noticeably better or different but that's just me.GenOne says this is an extra strength dose at 5,000mcg but I generally take 10,000mcg daily so I just take two of these capsules. Because there are 120 capsules in the bottle, this bottle will last 2 months. If you take one capsule per day, the bottle will last for 4 months so the price is good. The product is also vegan friendly and gluten-free.Biotin is water soluble so it's hard to get too much but you should check with your doctor before taking this, or any, supplement.

I have started taking and/or applying biotin to strengthen my teeth and nails. I have been doing this for about a month and it is helping. These Biotin capsules are a product I am trying. The biotin is in a clear capsule and goes down easily. This is one way to easily strengthen your nails and hair. The one issue is that the inner seal of the product came right off when I opened the lid. Fortunately there was also an outer plastic seal that was not broken, so I felt comfortable taking the product. But the manufacturer needs to make sure the inner seal actually seals if they are going to offer this product.

120 day supply arrived yesterday w/ expiration date of Oct 2020.I realize that most meds/supplements are likely still potent even after expiration date but I dont feel very confident in their quality control if they allow the shipment of soon to be expired product to customers.You never get a second chance to make a first impression so I will not choose to replace my usual biotin supplement with this brand.I hope my humble opinion helps you in some way.Thank you for reading.

I'm pretty happy with GenOne Biotin. It is a supplement that you do have to use for a while to know if it helps. This is a higher potency than the brands that I've used before and it makes a difference. Biotin is for your hair and nails and I believe that both have been improved since I began using these. The ingredients are top quality. They are very easy on my sensitive stomach but are just a tiny bit difficult to swallow. All in all I am very happy with this.

I've been on WW (formerly Weight Watchers) for about six months, and heard from others that there can be a problem with loss of hair on this diet. I decided to take precautions before it became a problem, and started taking Biotin about three months ago. It's difficult at best to review supplements - I can't tell you if they're pure or if they do the job. I can only hope they are and they do. You'll have to decide for yourself. I have noticed less hair loss in the shower drain, so I'm hopeful.
