27.0-Ounce Stainless Steel Water Bottle with Flick Sports Lid with Straw

I bought a couple of these that were, I think, 32 ounce size, and I love them. I've had them for years, take them with me everywhere I go, and they are in great shape. The neck is wide enough that I can easily fill the thing with ice cubes in hot weather--and I bought neoprene sleeves for the bottles so they don't sweat. I love that I don't have to tip the bottle to drink: the sipper is a straw that truly runs all the way to the bottom, so I can get every last drop of water holding the bottle straight. The flick lid does not leak--as long as you're careful to feel the little click when you push it down. The loop on the lid works great with a carabiner: I slip the carabiner onto a belt that I sling over my shoulder when I take walks. My boyfriend loved the ones I have so much that I got him this one: it's smaller than mine, and that would be my only quibble: I couldn't find the 32 ounce size, and I'd have loved to have gotten him exactly what I have.

I purchased all three - the 27oz, the insulated 17.5oz & the 16oz. All lids are interchangeable. Quality is excellent. I like that they are proud of their green products & stamp their logo on the top and bottom of the bottle. I also like how the straw doesn't touch the surfaces when one sets the top down when filling bottle - helps avoid contamination. And they clean easily with wide mouth and seal is perfect.

For what it is, it's fine. The straw/sipper hole is a little small and means more work if you're dying for a big swig, and the bottle isn't insulated itself so unless you buy a water bottle holder, whatever you're drinking will hit room temperature in a matter of minutes.Otherwise, it's pretty darn nice. And big.I got the G2V Products Black Neoprene Bottle Insulator Sleeve and they work well together. Very nice, snug fit.

The G2V 27.0 ounce water bottle is a waste of money. I purchased the 27 oz bottle because I received the 17 oz bottle as a gift and loved the quality. It is (the 17 oz) double walled and keeps drinks very cold and hot drinks very hot. I thought I would try the 27 ounce because I was looking for something to hold more water. The new 27 ounce is thin, sweats, and does not keep liquids hot or cold. I plan on donating it to good will.

Bought it for the hospital stay while delivering my son in March.The bottle was leaking and could not drink out of it even brand new...

i bought my first g2v about 6 years ago, when i got tired of plastic bottles. i go to the gym about 4 times a week and it held up very well - only a couple small dents from heavy barbells hitting it (but it survived perfectly fine!). the wide neck is perfect for poring in protein or pre-workout podwer. the slim design fits easily into my gym backpackwater bottle pouch. it did finally start to leak a bit, probably from wear and tear on the rubber (silicone?) seals. i've bought a new one because a water bottle that lasts 6 years seems like a very good deal.

Overall I am happy with this product. This was a gift for my wife to upgrade from using plastic. The quality of metal is no better than any other brand (thin steel like all the others). The flip straw is very nice, and the lid is very good quality.

Just got this thing and on the first use the straw does not bring anything up! Seriously?!?! This is a pretty expensive sippy cup to not have a working straw.
