The base lights up and there's four brightness settings, so it's both good for use at night when you want something dim and in my home office on a brighter setting for work. I do like the light up base which looks pretty cool. I didn't realize before that you charge it up via USB and it doesn't have to be plugged in to work, so it's portable which is pretty handy.

My son finds it really hard to get his self a sleep at night and he’s at that age where nightlights are just to uncool for him and he wants something that if he forgets to put away when his friends comes round it won’t matter.Three words that describes this light OH MY GOD - Its prefect and at a bargain price.It very light and portable and very easy on the eye with different light settings, it has a mood light function along side it being touch sensitive, USB chargeable and the neck bends 360 degrees also.Only trouble I need to order a couple more as my other kids are a little bit jealous not having one.

Great and bright, bought it as a bedroom lamp.The sensitivity allows you to change the brightness, which I found very useful when reading before sleep. The brightest level enlightens my whole room.Also, the stand has the option to lit up if you hold the button on the pad. Greatly designed and I found it convenient when you only need a bit of light.Great purchase for it's price. Would recommend it!

I’m really pleased with this lamp... it’s quite petite in size but is surprisingly bright for a cordless light, and has proved invaluable in my campervan! Works well for up to 2-4 hours with no cords, depending on brightness setting - but I tend to just plug the USB lead into a portable battery and this way it runs indefinitely... ideal for food prep, reading, working etc. The base unit also illuminates separately & is a great, subtle night light. Really easy to use, charge, packs into a small space... absolutely ideal for any kind of camping - or any space where you don’t have access to a plug socket.

I only use the Mood light in the base to light my way into bed, and it remains on for 20 minutes or so while I read a Kindle Paperwhite. Then again for 10 minutes getting up on these dark mornings. All of this on one initial charge 10 weeks ago – and still going strong!It has 4 light levels – base-light, then 1,2, and 3 on the main reading light. Level 1 is perfectly adequate to read by without disturbing others too much, and the other two levels improve visibility considerably, becoming quite bright at Level 3.The light seems very small at first, but one soon gets used to the size, and it quickly feels normal. It charges pretty rapidly via USB, and although I don't use it as a reading light, it seems to hold a charge very well.So, a neat, portable, efficient, rechargeable light for under £13. Remarkable value, and highly recommended.

I was looking for something that would not take up too much space on my desktop because room is tight and this light fits the bill no wires 3 different light leaves and a base light which give a nice soft glow. So easy to change with the ubs cable provided. I find it ideal because my desk is near a window and sometimes as dusk begins to fall the light from my computer make hard to see the keyboard and with the aid of this light with its flexible steam it perfect.

I was suprised at how small the box it came in was, but when unpacked it looks fine (pictured next to my laptop for scale). Its got great brightness, I use it as a desk light and it works well for this. I don’t have any plugs by my desk so being able to charge it and have it cordless or just plug it into my laptop is perfect.

This little thing was a godsend because my grandson does not like the dark but there is not a plug socket near his bed, so imagine when I found this little beauty.Most usb charged lights are kinda small and meant for inside cupboards etc but this one looks and works like a normal bedside lamp. It has a bright bulb with different brightness settings that lets him read or play for a bit and when it's time for sleep he just pops on the mood light on the base, that is bright enough to take darkness off room but not too bright it would keep him awake. A brilliant idea that can be used anywhere inside or outside. So 10/10 from me and 10/10 from his mum
