Expensive but worth it
The price tag is the only bad thing about this. I purchased two, one for the front door and one for the back. It’s pairs perfectly with my Smart Thing app and I can unlock/lock my door from my phone not matter where I’m at! Convenient for a mom like me who works overnights and has teenagers at home who lose their keys or forget to lock the door before bed.

Nice
so nice have had in for almost a month and works just great. Haven't tried the phone feature on it yet but love that I don't have to use a key to get in.

Nice Z-wave lock
Very easy to install since already have a BE369 on my door.This lock retracts the dead bolt, so easier for kids to use, no knob to turn.In addition, it uses only 4 AA battery, under a cover without needing a tool to remove.No 9V battery needed unlike my BE369.Paired nicely with SmartThing hub.

Totally Useless
This the third unit we have ordered and it is being returned as soon as a regular lock with keys is purchased.Despite new batteries, different brands of batteries and “factory resets”, these keyless locks are unreliable and fail for no reason.When you have multiple people needed access several times a day, the constant failures are not worth the convenience.

Some difficulty with compatability
When I set up the Smartthings hub to interface with the lock I had issues getting them to talk. Once it is set up it is great. When I got a new phone I had to reset the lock and set it up from scratch again. The lock does not have an app addon to make it compatible with good night and good morning automatic lock and unlock. Schlage does not recommend using third party apps as this is a security concern. I lo e I can lock and unlock my door from anywhere so I can let repairmen and deliveries in when I am not available.
