GE GE5040 Advanced Silicone Kitchen & Bath Sealant, 10.1 oz, Cartridge, Clear

Worked great and was very easy to use. I have purchased multiple times now and this product never disappoints.

Ordered to redo the caulking for kitchen sink and one bathroom sink.Works perfectly - uniform bead and settles in well. I taped off the non caulking area but a little bit spread out under the tape - my mistake. Used a scraping knife to clear out before it dried fully.I have long since learned to cut the tip with utility knife instead of caulk guns in built cutter - that always gives a wider bead than I planned.While the product says it is water ready in 30 minutes - it takes a few hours to fully dry out. in the first hour, it is still squishy and soft to correct mistakes and push in gaps.This is not transparent / clear by far. It starts grayish when first applied, and turns a little translucent when dried overnight.Does the sealing job well and does not stand out like its bright white version - good enough for me.I'm happy with the purchase and would order again !

Easy to use and looks like a professional did it. Only thing is the cost of the product. But what isn't overpriced these days? Time will tell how it performs.

I wish it dried a bit more clear than it did.

Can't be used, because it's expired on delivery. I just didn't noticed a month ago.

Nothing touches this GE product. Smoothness of application! Used in my own shower 7-8 years ago and still no mold. Used Dap after couldn't find due to shortages. Not the same. These days you have to support Quality manufacturers. Consistent yearly Quality! I've found that through GE. Make anything as good as you know how! I'm in! Need more quality in manufacturing. Good enough after testing in my home and since.... use in my Clients'!

Wow, this silicone is much better than others I tried. Easy to apply, dries quick, very low oder, GREAT to seal up cracks to keep roaches out (roaches hate this stuff). I plan to buy a case soon to do our kitchen area.

It's sealant, so I don't have a whole lot to say. It sealed. It formed a good seal. And since I am amateur and not professional I used kind of a lot of product to make sure I had enough seal. Which is what leads me to say the clear is more forgiving than a colored sealant. You really can't see how much I gobbed on there. As for if it is easy to remove, I don't know. That wasn't the job this week.

Easy to apply and easy to clean up.

Used to fasten glass pieces together for flower garden statue like creation. So far it has proven to be superior in it’s “ caulking form” over other recommended “glues”. The test of time in the outside environment will tell the tale i.e. by next spring 2024.

I’m not sure if the product sat too long in the shelf. It didn’t come out of the tube easy at all. Once dry days later it comes off easier than the application.

is effective. just remember to puncture the seal before use; placing into the caulking gun.as a fool, i did not when i first used it!

A product that I needed. I applied it several weeks ago and it is correct.However, it is a bit complicated when opening the product.
