FINALLY someone invented a catbox that WORKS, No awful clay litter that makes me sneeze, far less tracking. Yes I have a diabetic cat, but I also have two others and it is ever so much easier on me and they seem to like it too. At least they haven't complained yet. I just wish I could buy the seed litter in the store.I found the answer to the seed. I buy the Breeze pellets at the pet store. Only thing I can't stand about the box is cleaning the whole thing. Takes a long time and a lot of work. I clean it monthly and change the litter at the same time. Wish there was a way to keep the seeds or pellets in the box instead of all over the floor.

My cat refuses to even step into this litter box so I wanted to return it because he has not used it once It costs $10.81UPS fee to return which they will deduct from the refund. Then there is a $15 restocking fee that will also be deducted from your refund. So basically not refundable if you return it. That is horrible customer service for a product! They won’t even stand behind it if u aren’t able to use it.Also The grate that holds the litter is cheaply made plastic and flimsy so if you have a heavier cat, he most likely will not like the feeling when he stands on it.

Easy to clean and no dusty tracking from traditional litter. However I still found tracking everywhere because they are larger pellets. It's like stepping on Legos. Also there is a funky odor and I clean up more than once a day and rinse the urine container daily. My cat is also diabetic hence the constant Cleanup of pee and the daily poo. However I find myself changing the litter more because it molds very easily and that gets me nervous.

My diabetic cat was urinating so much that he would fill a litter box in a day or two and then track it everywhere, and then go outside the box because it was always full. With this, he used it immediately and now I can easily clean it and there are no more messes in the house.

We have a recently diagnosed diabetic cat, and in addition to her daily shots, we kept having to take her to the vet for Fructosamine tests. Not only is that expensive ($115.00 a trip - every 6 weeks), but it is really stressful for rescue kitty and her rescue mom. This box is part of the solution to allow me to track her glucose and preclude at least some of those visits, as well as tell what the effects are on her sugar of specific diets, etc. She immediately got into the box (I had placed a clump of urine and a feces bit in there to give her the idea), and she took to it right away. The only thing I didn't like at all was the "litter" - safflower seeds that arrived with their own ants. Instead I used Breeze zeolite pellets with it and the urine goes straight through to the collector allowing me to test it twice a day. Excellent box!

I ended up getting rid of this box and moving to the Breeze 2 box instead. The safflower seeds were always everywhere - too easy for my cat to kick out of the box - and the bottom tray needed constant cleaning and smelled bad. The Breeze 2 is a better system for our situation.

My aging Akasha was going through buckets of litter…then trays of crystals…and bags of pine pellets…then packages of the of pads with the breeze system.The SmartCat system saved us. It is the least smelly, eco-friendly, easy maintenance cat waste system I’ve ever used.

I bought this cat box for my mom and her two elderly (one diabetic) cats about a month ago. The diabetic cat drinks and pees a lot, of course, so the previous box had to be emptied of concrete-like clumping litter very often. With this box, the pee container is easily emptied and the safflower seeds are easy on their feet. My mom just told me yesterday what a life-saving box this is! I highly recommend this!
