Good box for big cats.
Great litter box. The high sides keep the litter in the box and the length is excellent for our bigger cat. The box is also easy to clean as litter doesn't stick to the finish.

Biggest Reason for Senior Cat and Best Box!!!
This is a huge blessing!!! I’ve got 3 cats, the one pictured is my eldest who turned 9 this month, my second is 4 as well this month and my youngest will be 1 sometime in autumn(my eldest is an absolute marshmallow when it comes to new anything she’s very loving and trusting, second eldest is timid and finicky, snubbing anyone and everyone but is a huge cuddle addict and youngest is the athletic wild child who does not know the meaning of calm or bedtime). I’ve been trying to find a large litter box that’s easily accessible for an older cat and roomy so no more accidental potty’s outside the box because my youngest thinks it’s a fun game to ambush her older sisters. My eldest is both deaf and blind since kittenhood and she doesn’t always realize she’s got her back end hanging outside the box hence the washable liner underneath the litter box. This litter box is huge!!! It’s bigger, it’s deeper, it’s taller on the sides and back, easy front access for my eldest and it’s very roomy. My cats are all smaller in size compared to larger cat breeds and two can use this litter box at one time which is amazing. I don’t know how someone with a bigger cat like a Maine Coon or a Norwegian Forest Cat or other larger breeds or mixed cats will do with this but it’s perfect for my smaller statured cats. I wish I had this when fostering kittens!!! It doesn’t take a lot of litter, at least in my opinion, there’s no “top half” like the guard on the old litter box pictured which sometimes leaks, and on the front my eldest would scratch at it because she doesn’t know how to cover(the younger two jump in and cover it for her) and it’s cracked so it would make this awful loud banging/clapping sound which is quite startling around 2 or 3 in the morning and at 6 in the morning. It’s easier to scoop and clumping litter slides easily when I scoop though it might change if they manage to scratch up the bottom on the inside. So far I love it, my girls love it, no potty accidents outside the litter box, no leaks, no spraying and I think it’s perfect. I’m seriously considering getting a second one so if/when I foster again they’ll have their own and my girls won’t get upset with new arrivals trying to “take over” their box. This box is awesome!!!Edit: March 24,2022.Still love it though it is awkward to take outside to completely dump into a garbage bag and somewhat heavy with the litter in it. My second kitty is the type to use one spot in the box. I swear she goes like she’s held it in for 2 hours my dads dog goes less and she’s a medium/large mixed dog, but it leads to large And squishy clump which as long as I get it out after she’s gone there’s no problem but if I leave and come back home and scoop then it tends to stick(I need to see about different litter). It is a miracle for my eldest, no bathroom business outside the box so YES!! Definitely did help wonders. I use a generic brand of clumping cat litter(42lbs) and starting with an empty box it takes just under half a container(to make smoother transition and acceptance of the box I took the used litter from the old box and my girls did wonderfully). So in short from first setup to now, wonderful box, very strong and sturdy, very large for my cats(smaller sized cats), easier to scoop, less bathroom accidents, prevents litter toss outside box(at least for mine), is somewhat awkward and somewhat heavy to dump and clean but will definitely recommend to family and friends.

Highly recommend- it will make your life better
This litter box has made my life 100% better. My cats aren’t necessarily big but they were too big for the litter boxes sold by our local stores and they were always going just outside of the box and I was constantly cleaning. This box is big enough that they are able to properly go in their box. Highly recommend

Solved my scatter problam
House with 3 adult cats - older neutered male and we introduced two spayed female kittens into his world 2 1/2 years ago. Everyone is fine but one of the sisters will poop in front of the basement door if the cat boxes aren't clean enough and the other sister likes to cover up her deposits from OUTSIDE the box which results in dragging out the filler out onto the floor making a mess for me to clean up. If I don't clean up her mess, her sister will use the floor since there is a pile of litter on it. Ugh.Whitley, our "resident" cat was doing just fine with two regular boxes sitting side-by-side but bringing in Sophie and Gracie complicated things. Never been a fan of covered boxes and not necessary for us since the box area is in our basement.I tried the type with the removable rim and although it's a good idea and is tall enough, the w and d dimensions really needed to be 2 or 3 inches bigger. These from Petco ARE big enough for a large cat to manuever. I started out with three but since one end is shorter, Sophie (the dragger) used the lower end to access the box and she was still dragging filler out and making a mess. So I bought a 4th one and put the short ends together. With three cats, I should have started out with 4 boxes anyway. The configuration shown in the picture works great. Whitley likes to perch when he pees and he now stands on one of the two center edges that are now butted up together which I imagine is more comfortable on his feet. Placed like I have them, the high sides are not a deterrence - they either go over it or enter in the low parts. Thanks Petco!
