UPDATE:Very disappointed! We purchased this product September 23, 2023 and now just over 2 months later the lock broke! Now this item isn't even offered for sale and there seems to be ZERO customer service either.We purchased this to safe guard our prescription controlled medication as we have obtained guardianship over five of our grandchildren. Three of which are teenagers. This has worked perfectly to keep unwanted hands out of our things! It's a small bag but extra deep (long) deep. The lock is easy to reset and manageable to unlock for arthritic hands. Better quality than expected too! Haven't tried the water proof side of it as that isn't what we purchased it for. It is a handy little locked bag that keeps unwanted hands away from your belongings.

The numbers weren't super easy to spin, but they were effective. Very easy to set your own code. A determined thief can still break the clasp or cut into the fabric, or even steal the entire chair that the bag is attached to, but the thief would be noticeable. Idea is that you don't make yourself an easy target. This bag kept our valuables safe at a very crowded Kalahari indoor water park. So glad we have it for attaching to our chairs at the public pool and the beach for this upcoming summer season.

Worked well for our needs securely store our stuff in the Aruba sun and winds for 16 days. The bag is very deep, so if you have much stuff to retrieve, it can be difficult to find things. Worked best for us when the bag was only about 1/3 full, but then we still generally needed to take most things out to find what we needed. There is a small zippered pocket inside, but it can be difficult to zip and unzip being so deep in the bag. Instructions say to fold locking end over a minimum of 3 times before locking to some object. If bag is mostly empty, you probably want to fold about 5 times. Yes, people can still steal the bag or objects, but the whole purpose is to make it difficult enough that thieves will look elsewhere. It was nice to keep things out of the sun, attach the bag to our chair to keep the wind from blowing things around, keep things dry around the pool or surf, and have confidence our cell phones would still be there when we returned. The exterior lettering came off pretty quick, likely due to frequent handling of the bag with sunscreen hands. The buckle and lock did not seem high quality, but it did last frequent use in a rough environment for 16 days. Not sure how long the waterproofing would last in heavy rains, but it certainly met our needs in the non-rainy environment. The strings to use as a backpack were very helpful. Just remember to scramble the lock even if not locking so prying eyes don't see the 3-digit combination. You do have to set the lock to both latch and unlatch which can be a bit of an issue with frequently wet, sweaty or sun-screened hands. In the end, glad I bought it. I am willing to try a different design next time I need something like this again.

we have been locked out of our own bag! we used this bag once and now the lock won't engage when it is set to our combination! Basically the bag broke after one time of use and we can't reset since the code itself doesn't work. Horrible!

Bought this for waterparks and the beach. Its sturdy and easy to use. Perfect to attach to your chair or umbrella to prevent the "quick grab" thief , it's also nice to wear in crowds as well no worrying about someone getting stuff out when you aren't looking or can't feel it. It's decent size too, you can hold a couple beach towels and flip flops in it..perfect for 1 or 2 people

I just received this and have not actually used it but I wanted to say that it comes with a pre set 3 digit lock code BUT you can reset to your own 3 number code of your choice. The instructions are on a label that is attached to the inside of the bag. Its pretty simple to change just follow instructions. (set dials to combination (preset)/ open buckle, locate switch on side/ slide switch toward left with pen/ listen for click/ set combination/slide switch to right to use/ listen for click). I followed the instructions and reset mine and it seems to work perfectly. So far so good. In case you are wondering could someone go and change your code without you knowing - The answer is no - because it has to be in the unlock position before you can change it.

I ordered this bag for my recent Hawaiian vacation. I used it mostly at Waikiki beach, a very populated beach on an island notoriously prone to theft (everywhere you park, signs tell you not to leave valuables in your vehicle).The bag was secure enough for my needs. I would secure it to my beach chair while swimming in the ocean for long periods of time. The locking bag gave me the peace of mind that I had lacked on previous trips without a secure bag. (I have never been robbed there, but I have always been aware of how vulnerable my phone and wallet were when I’d swim.) With the locking strap, a thief would have to work conspicuously hard to steal my things. It would probably be possible—it is a plastic lock—but not without making a scene on a crowded beach.The bag is waterproof, which was also great on Waikiki. The sand can be moist and it can rain periodically even when it’s sunny. I was also dripping wet after getting out of the ocean, but the bag kept my belongings dry and sand-free.It was comfortable to wear. The string straps are thin and light, and as long as you don’t put too much weight in the bag they are comfortable and low profile.The color selection was great. I chose a light blue that fit the tropical sunny environment well. I am very glad I had this on my vacation, and I will use it for as long as it lasts.
