Perfect!
I am so happy with this replacement top. It was bought like new without original packaging, but the top and windows were clearly brand new with zero blemishes. It was a perfect fit

Best Top for the Price!
My 2004 needed it's first replacement top after over 10 years of service. The old top developed a rip on both sides of the top above the doors. The Jeep is now a hand me down to my teen daughter and I didn't want to have her driving around in a top with rips and having her exposed to the elements. There are just so many choices for replacement tops. I did a lot a research on a black diamond top before deciding on the Pavement Ends brand. Pavement Ends is owned by Bestop who supplies the OEM tops to Jeep. But, the Pavement ends is half the price of a Bestop brand AND I wouldn't have to deal with the ugly yellow Bestop logo on the back window. The manufacture was offering a $50 rebate and free shipping which made this top the lowest price replacement top on Amazon. The top arrived in two days and, to be honest, I wasn't expecting much other than it's ability to keep my daughter from the elements. The top was beautiful! The black was a much deeper black than the OEM top which matched the black paint on the Jeep. Installation wasn't bad. They included some instructions but I have replaced Jeep tops before so they were not really needed. Here are a couple of tips when installing the new top:Install the top on a warm day. Even though I sat the top in the sun all day prior to installation it was still very tight due to cool April temperatures.Have a second set of hands to help. Because the new top was so tight it helped to have my son hold one end while I tucked in the rear corners of the top. Without his help this it would have been very difficult due to how tight the new top was during installation. A few warm days should loosen the fabric a little.Overall this is a great top. After the rebate the cost was just over $200. I highly recommend this replacement top for any Jeep Wrangler TJ. It seems just as thick as the OEM top, the tint is neither too dark nor too light and the black diamond color looks great on the Jeep for less than half the price of the sailcloth model from Bestop.

Great, inexpensive soft top!!
Great inexpensive soft top!Installation:Very easy to install with easy to follow directions for someone who has never installed one. The top was a bit of a struggle to stretch and get on, but I knew that going in because it was 55° when I put it on. I suggest waiting for a warm day and let everything sit in the sun before installing. The side windows zipped on eaiser than the factory windows and are slightly loose. This doesn’t bother me because it made them eaiser to get on and off. Back window was also a challenge and only got it 3/4 zipped and then gave up. It will have to be warmer to get it on.Look:Very sharp and I love the color. Just the right amount of tint.Extras:Wind noise on the highway is the same as a factory soft top. The fabric in my opinion compares with the factory and seems very sturdy.Overall would highly recommend this top.

Good Top
These are my first impressions on this top after installing 1 day ago. It went on easy enough. Nothing unusual. It's actually no different than taking your old top down, with the added step of unscrewing the old from the header and attaching the new. After that, just the normal procedure, which for me was way easier than the old because my zippers were mostly shot. All the screw locations are easy to locate aside from the 2 corner pieces that fold over. Snap a pic with your phone to get a good location for those otherwise you can end up with a small buckle in the fabric. Pay attention to how you take off the old header and you will have no problem. 45 minutes for the top, start to finish. The doors are a different animal. The door skins took me as long as the the top. Don't bother being slow and careful just cutting seams. Get a sharp blade and cut that thing loose. My new door skins don't fit very well, as of yet. The bottom velcro would not stretch up around the bar to attach. Hopefully it will stretch some. It's nice and tight. When I get home today I will need to do some adjusting to get rid of air leaks and fine tune the fit.Overall I like it. The windows are nice and clear and the tint is great. Quality is really good and its much quieter than the old stretched out flappy top. The top looks great (black top on an'05 Khaki jeep TJ). I would recommend this.

Looks great. I would buy again!
This top is great. It fit like a glove and was not hard to put on. I let it set out for a few days and installed it when it was 60°. The instructions gave me all of the information I needed to out it on correctly. So far it doesn't leak and looks great. The tint is a touch I wasn't sure about but I am glad I went with it. The clear always ends up discolored and hard to see through. It doesn't look like this will have that issue. I would buy it again if I had to do over.

Best Quality Budget TJ top
As somebody who buys and sells lots of TJ’s, I have installed many new tops of all different brands. RC, Smittybilt, Rampage, Sierra, and now the Pavement Ends top.For the price, I think this is the best option when purchasing a soft top for your Jeep. It’s a far better quality than the other cheaper brands I mentioned, and not much more expensive. I’d say the top is 80-90% of the quality of a Bestop and only 1/4 of the price.Install was very easy, but then again I have installed at least 10 soft tops before. Just make sure the top is warm when you go to install it or it will be hard to stretch across the frame. I also put 5% static cling tint I purchased from Amazon on the soft top windows and upper window skins, I really like the blacked out look and the increased privacy.
