Great sound, bad leaking
These earphones are a cheaper version of the ATH-CM700 which as a better build quality. The sound quality is well balanced and the bases are pretty impressive for earphones. The problem with these is the sound leaking. For myself, I'm pretty comfortable with the fact that someone near me could hear bribes of my music, it's the external sound that comes in that annoy me the most. In fact, this is a normal contextual constraint from all the non-silicon earphones. If you can live with that, these earphones are for you. If not, I would recommend silicon earphones (for those who can support the feeling of silicon in their ear) or headphones.Overall, for the price, they are really impressive.

Overall great quality, quite weak on the bass but that's ...
So hard to find a traditional earphones these days. Overall great quality, quite weak on the bass but that's expected for an non in-ear. Sweet mid-high range so great vocal performance, as expected for an Audio Technica. Good for phones and laptops. So if you are a) not into genres that requires much bass, b) old-schooler who doesn't like the in-ears and c) have a big enough ear cavity (if you only use the smallest bits for the in-ear headphones like me this thing will hurt for prolonged usage) then I say go for it.Oh and it has a nice portable case with it so that's good.

Good sound quality but bad material quality
The plastic protection is teared off for my purchase indicating bad material quality. However, as mentioned in other reviews, the sound is great.

Great quality and cable length
Great quality and cable length. The perimeter of the earpiece is rubber, holding the pads that go over the earpiece in place. This is worth the money definitely. My only concern is that these cables are just rubber, not braided. I break a lot of headphones, but these should be fine. GO BUY IT.

I mean, they play sound!
Do not be impressed with the fact that these are name brand, and fancy imports. They are $12 head phones at a $60 price point, and your ears are going to process them as such.

Great experience
Good audio effect and listening experience as well as appearance. Suitable for pop music but also good at classical music.

They just don't sound good.
They fit well, but for the price they sound tinny. I have other earbuds for half the price that sound at least as good.
