Intimate Skin Exfoliator: VV Cream Gentle Exfoliator for the bikini area

I ordered The Perfect V Gentle Exfoliator along with their gentle wash and luminizer just so I could try them all out.This product isn’t bad though I’m also not in love with it. It claims to “Exfoliate. Refine. Renew.” I realize that it says it gently exfoliates by using “Natural AHA acids (lemon, sugar cane and sugar maple, orange extracts) and Salicylic Acid,” but I was still kind of hoping it would be a little gritty for some added physical exfoliation.It is a somewhat thin, white creamy-looking product. It feels like there are a few tiny grainy pieces of sugar or something like that, but there is so little of it that you can’t really feel it. It is almost as if pinch of little granules accidentally spilled into the whole bottle- that is how little of it there is.I will say that it is very gentle and has a pleasant, barely there scent. It does also seem like it would be somewhat moisturizing.Have I noticed any results? I can’t really tell. I’m sure it does work based on the ingredients, but I just haven’t noticed anything yet. The main time I want to use a product like this is in the shower. Even when I keep the running water away, this stuff just mostly seems like it disappears as I’m rubbing in circular motions as if I’m never using enough.At $34 for 50ml, it just isn’t a great value for me based in my experience, and I personally wouldn’t order again even if I noticed some type of result.I hope my review was helpful in some way, and if so, I would love to know- thanks!

I didn't notice that this product was actually intended for the -interior- of the bikini area. My wife brought it to my attention (a little bit of embarrassment here) and was actually quite put off by the entire idea of this stuff.I won't attempt to impose my or my wife's personal choices on you, but both of us are skeptical of the health benefits or appropriateness of messing around with the natural functions of the vagina. We feel that they could lead to unintended results, especially since the vagina has very clearly been proven to be self-cleaning, self-exfoliating, and generally self-maintaining by medical science - thus rendering a product like this to be unnecessary and possibly inhibiting to a healthy natural function.In other words, I'll defer to the judgement of medically trained professionals as to whether this product is appropriate for its intended use, and would suggest the same to anyone.

The Perfect V “Gentle Exfoliator” is a luxury exfoliant made specifically for the bikini and external vulva areas. I use the exfoliator only where I shave, wax or epilate in the bikini area. This exfoliates with microbeads, natural AHAs and salicylic acid (BHA). It has a creamy consistency with small beads and feels gentle on my sensitive skin. I pamper my body with scrubs and love the benefits, so it makes sense to me to add to my routine a gentle exfoliant tailored to the sensitive V area on days I’m using more robust body scrubs elsewhere.I use this Gentle Exfoliant in between hair removal and apply a small amount in circular motions to my damp, clean skin and then rinse. This gets rid of dead skin and smooths my skin without any irritation. While I can’t speak from experience, I’ve read articles (such as one on Healthline by an OB-GYN) that a gentle exfoliator is recommended for ingrown hair prevention. The only negative I can think of is that this comes in a small 1.7 oz tube. This product is free of chemical fragrance. It has orange and lemon oils, but any citrus scent is so subtle I don’t notice it. Love the product. 5 stars. Made in England.

I have tried quite a few of the V products. I their moisturizers and cleansers. This is a wonderful, gentle exfoliator. It leaves my skin feeling really soft, clean, and moisturized. It has a very gentle “clean” scent, nothing overpowering and it is quite pleasant.Another reviewer said it didn’t do much for them. I found quite the opposite. It is a very good at exfoliating and has a medium course texture that is very effective.I am quite happy with this as the other V products I’ve tried. Highly recommended!

Very gentle exfoliation, just as the name implies. Which to me is perfect, because this is being used on a delicate area. I know well the power exfoliation has in keeping our skin healthy. Without going into too much detail, I'll say that this helped with razor burn. And I would rather use this "specially formulated for that area" exfoliator than any other normal exfoliator - so im happy with the product.

I get in grown hairs and irritation from shaving like none other. So much so that I actually dread shaving sensitive areas. When I saw that there was a gentle exfoliator for the bikini area that could potentially help with those issues, I knew I wanted to try it.Much to my surprise, it actually works pretty well. Using this exfoliator after shaving seems to have helped with the in grown hair issues that I normally experience. I also have less razor burn and irritation.Definitely worth giving a try.

I like using VV Gentle Wash so much that I thought I’d give one of their other products a try. This exfoliator is a disappointment—it doesn’t do much of anything, and leaves delicate skin feeling pretty much the way it did before exfoliation. People who are prone to developing ingrown hairs might find this added step more helpful in deterring that problem, and the formula is gentle. It just doesn’t do much for me—my own body does a pretty good job naturally sloughing away dead skin cells to generate new ones. This supposedly speeds up the rejuvenation process, but results are imperceptible.
