Wow ! Just what I need to start sketching.
At Home Panse all the pencils were included bringing with different degrees of Charcoal. But then I checked, that 3 of them are to wet with water.And my expectations were better when you bring 3 charcoal sticks, graphite and 3 bar.The quality is excellent.

An All-Purpose Sketch Kit +++
I have an old one of these I bought for a dollar at a yard sale a few years ago and like the older one, this new one is very close to the perfect lightweight sketching companion. The materials (pencils of various sorts, charcoal and graphite sticks in three grades each,) are by Derwent and are therefor of excellent quality. All of the contents fit into a rigid plastic tray with compartments for each item; one modification I make to enhance the kit is to remove the three graphite sticks from their slots and substitute a stick each of black, white and sanguine conte crayon. I also remove the charcoal pencil and fill its space with a couple of smudge sticks (tortillions or such) and a small kneaded eraser, and remove one of the three charcoal sticks and replace it with a stick of white charcoal although that isn't strictly necessary as the kit already contains a white pastel-type pencil that works as well. A sheet or two of facial tissue to clean off my fingers after sketching and a large rubber band to attach it to a sketchbook and I'm ready to go! The only real improvement Derwent could make would be to attach the tin's lid with a hinge: the old kit's lid getting stepped on was the incentive to buy a new kit. It doesn't fit very well any more... :)A great buy for the price. Even without modification its a well equipped sketching kit at a reasonable cost.Mike

Love Derwent products
I love these smaller sets when I just want to be able to play and learn how to use these materials
