Dream Palette - Professional Neutral Eye Palette

This has become my favorite eyeshadow!!! It has nice colors and lasts all day! Very easy to apply and so many choices from soft to bold affects.

This eyeshadow palette comes elaborately packaged in a HUGE fancy box. Huge - just under 14" x 10". Once you get the compact out, it's a big disappointment. The compact is PAPER. The mirror and eyeshadows are just set into cardstock-weight paper. It doesn't fold closed completely, so I'll have to find a big rubberband to put around it. The colors are OK, which is why I'm giving it 2 stars instead of one.

This palette is available at Costco for under $15. I love the shades in this palette as they're matte and very workable for an every day look. In fact, it's all the shades I use regularly in one palette. I would rate it 5 stars but it's not as pigmented as some of my high end palettes from Urban Decay or MAC or not even as pigmented as some NYX shadows.However, the pigments are better than regular store brands and go on very well and stay a while if you use a primer and blend them in with some good brushes. The eyelines is difficult to get out and then does not go back in easily.

I got this as a last Xmas, and I did use it right away, but only when I remembered to. I have a lot of makeup because it's one of my passions, but gift sets will usually get pushed to the back of my collection. I'm not sure why, but anyways, about late August I got a new job and would have to carpool with my fiancé to work. That meant I could just do my makeup in thr car so I wanted something convenient to bring with me.This had all sorts of natural shades, some I could even use as a highlighter if I wanted to, so I grabbed this and headed out the door. Now it's October and I've "hit pan" on the color "raw." In other words, I haven't stopped using this pallette since August.The colors can come off chalky if you're packing them on with your fingers and there can also be a bit of fall-out if you're not careful. But other than that, the colors are smashing! And I actually haven't used the eyeliner until about a week ago and I love it! I used to always put eyeliner on my waterline, when I don't I feel like I look dead haha. But I quit recently because I felt like maybe I was developing an allergy to it. My eyes would turn semi-red and sting like crazy. But I took a chance and tried the eyeliner that comes with the set and my eyes don't burn or turn red.I definitely recommend buying this set. I think you can find it at Costco for a lower price, but I'm not sure anymore. It might have just been a holiday thing. I definitely will be keeping this in my collection, though, at any cost. (:
