Great Price for Great Suey
Best Price for great suet. You can find more expensive suet but this is the best balance of price and popularity with the birds.See attached photo of one of the Flickers we feed who is at this moment sitting on the empty suet feeder staring in at me while I order more from Amazon. Second pic is a Flicker on it while full.Tip: hang horseshoes from suet feeder using zip ties- they prevent it from swinging and give the little birds a place to sit while taking turns. When the feeder swings less, birds feel safer and visit more. Don't have a horse? Look on Craigslist for someone selling one or giving riding lessons or a farrier- you can get a few for a few bucks - maybe free- from any of those.

Unpalatable
I'm very disappointed with this product. My birds typically LOVE suet cakes, but they do not care for these at all. I can't remember when I put out the last cakes, but they are still there in the feeder. Any other brand, and it would be gone within a week. I suggest that you do not buy this product.I do give kudos for the suet packaging. The wrapping product is very easy to open without getting messy. Typically I have to use scissors, but these packages tear open very easily, and the cakes slip right into the feeder.

Just not that attractive
I buy hundreds of pounds of seed and suet every year. This is the only variety I have ever seen that just doesn't seem to be very attractive. Even my regular visiting Woodpeckers often choose the seed feeder over this suet. That's very unusual in my experience. It's only when all the other choices are exhausted that any of my local birds show any willingness to eat this stuff. I will not buy this again.

Something is wrong with this formula!
Something in amiss with these suet cakes. They were only about $1 each compared to the $5 each in stores, but not one bird has touched these. The squirrels stay away also. They do not appear to attract the woodpeckers, cardinals, Blue Jays or black birds who eat from every other feeder just a few feet away.

Birds LOVE this!
Our birds - all of them: blue jays, woodpeckers, blackbirds, EVERYthing - gobble this up! I can't decide if that's a good thing because I have to buy more suet than I did before. But I feed them because I want them to be happy, and they absolutely love this stuff. So I am back to buy more!

Great cakes, easy to expand
The birds like it a lot. At first thought there were not enough meal worms and that it was too greasy. The birds disagreed. When I added a few extra meal worms to the outside, even more birds are coming. The meal worms stick very easily to the cakes and this is a lot better price value than any other comparable products. With the few extra meal worms, this is the best deal! I'm ordering it again today, after getting my first box one month ago.

Highly recommend, have tried everything out there, and these suet cakes take the cake.
Orders are twice a week now, not only attracting more woodpeckers, but now all my cardinals, robins and even the ravens are waiting their turn. Just added more suet feeders. I have purchased cases of all kinds most of which are twice the price of these and only the ants were happy. I love listening to a yard of singing, tweeting and playing well lol. Amazon, please keep these on your permanent list!!

The woodpeckers love it, but many other birds also eat it
The birds in my backyard have been plowing through this stuff. I've got 2 suet tail prop feeders ( Suet Feeder With Tail Prop Hunter Green ). The woodpeckers love it, but many other birds also eat it. I originally started using suet feeders to distract woodpeckers from pecking the siding of my house and getting into the attic. This has worked really well and they now leave my house alone, content with the suet I leave out for them.
