Great Cage!
Overall this is a pretty nice cage. I knew it would be big but didn't realize just how big till I got it all together. No complaints about the size though because I wanted my two parakeets to have lots of room! In fact there's so much room that I'm going to add two more parakeets to the mix! My Aunt also bought one of these cages and she's decided as well to add a couple more parakeets. I didn't give it a full five stars because I thought the perches should've been just a wee bit longer. The way I have them arranged are staggered and the one in the middle is kind of loose. I'll probably replace it with some long sand perches or something. Anyway, if you're thinking about purchasing this cage I say do it! Great cage for the price!

Don't Waste Your Money
To begin with, the item received is not the item that is pictured. I item I received was the same in dimensions, black, 4 feeder doors and the two main doors with doors in them. However, The heart design is "closed" and the ends of the heart overlap leaving sharp ends on them. The item pictured shows the feeder doors with the "bent in" wire that keeps the bird from lifting the feeder doors up more than 1/2 inch. This is a very important safety feature that I prefer. Yes, I know there are other things that you can do to keep the doors closed but this is a great easy safety fix that lets you open the door with ease while keeping some of the smarter birds from opening it from the inside. The cage was so flimsy. Nothing was flush. Gaps all over the place. While we do not have our new bird in residence, we have visited him everyday since he was old enough. This bird likes to climb cages. There were too many sharp edges that needed to be sanded down. A lot of the places that the pieces fit together had the ends curved up and in to the cage instead of down and out of the cage. The two side pieces were not straight due to the way the item is packaged. A little bubble wrap or even some card board spacers would certainly improve the way it travels. The cage is just constructed poorly. I put it together and let it sit to see if gravity might help with some of the issues. The cage dismantled a lot faster than it put together. I returned this item and purchased something else instead. Waste of my time.

Perfect Cage for Parakeets
I had a lone parakeet show up at the barn. She was obviously someone's pet, but found her way to me. After catching her from amongst the cows, I needed supplies. This cage was the perfect choice.I have added toys, mirrors, a waterer/birdbath, an open feeder, and many other items. Still lots of room for her to fly around. I purchased a companion for her and they both seem to be content. I have named them Country Keet and City Keet. This cage was not difficult to assemble, just took my time. I used a pair of long needle-nosed pliers to crimp the panels together. This made it easier to grab the wire. There was one wire on mine that was bent, but it was easy enough to straighten out with regular pliers.I secured each of the wire platforms with cable ties to ensure they wouldn't move.

Flimsy, but usable with care
Fairly flimsy cage. Places where wires are welded break apart easily, so handle carefully when assembling the cage - the cage arrived with two welds broken already. The bottom of the cage is not strong, so the cage will need to sit on a fully-supporting surface like a table - that is, the bottom is too weak to be stable when only supported at a few points.Cage flexes easily, so the slotted wood perches will pop loose from the wires easily when the cage is moved - I put a dab of hot glue in the ends of the perch slots to hold the perches on when I move the cage.Doors are sized so that standard feed/water cups won't quite fit - at least of all the multitude of feeder cups I have, only the ones that came with the cage fit in the doors.

Very big, great for the price
can't beat it for the price, was much larger than I thought it would be. My bird is so happy in this big cage. I also love the ladders and food bowls that come with it.
