I bought this stencil to help with crafting. It is plastic, and 28cm long as described. Each stencil line is about 14 cm, and wide enough for a medium (0.7 and 0.9) tip pencil or pen to move easily. My one complaint would be in packaging. It was mailed to me folded in half. It was hard to unfold, and is now weaker where it was folded. It has taken 2 weeks of unfolded pressure to keep it that way. Otherwise, it works very well.

Terrible! Aweful! I ordered two because I was excited to find these templates only to open the package from China to see that the templates were folded in the package! I am so disappointed!

This guide is perfect for quickly lining paper for calligraphy (not the specialized lining for Copperplate ascenders/waistline/etc., but great if you only need the baseline) and exactly what I was looking for. I purchased this with some hesitation because of the mixed reviews, but I was fortunate that mine was packed right (not in its own padded mailer but at the bottom of the box and against a ream of paper) and arrived flat. It's sturdier plastic than I was expecting, given the reviews - I'd say it's flexible, but not to the point of being flimsy. I've attached a photo comparing its thickness to the nice Ink Furie acrylic envelope lettering guide I use constantly (my favorite, purchased from a calligraphy specialty store) for comparison. As you can see, it's not quite as thick as the Ink Furie guide (which really doesn't bend), but it's rigid enough to be easy to use as a stencil. It's A4, so narrower and longer than letter-sized paper, if that matters to you (I posted a photo for reference), but close enough for most purposes.

First, it came folded in the envelope. I had to keep it under several heavy items before it would lay flat on its own. It should be shipped flat in a large envelope. Unfolding it also left unsightly white marks at the folds.Second, the line spacing isn't as narrow as I'd prefer, but that's just me. But it is a bit narrower than normal wide-lined paper.The plastic is also kind of flimsy. When making the lines, i had to keep my pen fairly straight up and down. Otherwise the template would move and a couple of lines had a major dip in them.But I guess it'll do for the Inked Pen Journal I'll be starting for my fountain pens and various inks. I do need a little more space for that.

Product received on time. Good plastic (not flimsy). Works well for full page. (Was folded in half for shipping, yet went flat with a little bit of warmth). I like this item.

Amazing customer service from the dealer. The first shipment didn't show up and the dealer replaced it immediately and it was here within days. It works beautifully for lines on greeting cards, scrapbook pages as well as stationary. Love it.

I love this , it was just what I was looking for. It is not a stiff heavy plastic but I use it to draw lines in my scrapbooks and it is perfect for this. It is also not perfectly clear, but again serves my purpose perfectly.
