Almost there with just a few shortcomings (this goes long...)
I bought this to replace my Sandisk Clip+ and I've seen a lot of other reviews along the same line. So, of course I'll compare this with the Clip+. My main use is to listen to audiobooks and podcasts while running, using bluetooth headphones. So my main criteria includes durability/build, ability to play podcasts and audiobooks, bluetooth connection/battery life while on bluetooth, and convenience while running. My headphones are the Powerbeats Pro; though I don't like these as much as the Airpods, they have excellent connection and sweat resistance (important in humid Virginia)Real quick, my issue with the Sandisk and why I needed to replace it: 1) the clip on the back snapped off, a very common problem and 2) the bluetooth connection would have drops even if in my back pocket and I turned my head.Construction/Durability - I'm concerned about this. While the clip feels solid, the buttons have quite a bit of wiggle to them. Additionally, the ports are all exposed as compared to the Sandisk that has water resistance seals on every port. I can shake this and hear all the buttons rattling. I did about seven miles on trails in humid weather and it survived well, but I worry about long term use.Podcasts/Audiobooks - To be clear, there is NO audiobook or podcast function. They still work, but will be played as normal MP3 files. On the Sandisk, if you are playing an audiobook, it holds your place for each book and the FF/RW buttons work differently in that they're for scrubbing instead of skipping tracks. On the Wiwoo, you can scrub through a file by holding down, but if you accidentally click the track button, you'll lose your spot. It will resume where you were last, but only if that was the last track you listened to. Because of the display, it truncates the name of the files after a certain number of characters, so you'll need to ensure the mp3 files are short enough to see the part number (ie if your file is Ready Player One Part 01, you'll only see Ready Player One Pa..., less than ideal). A saving grace is that there is a bookmark function. It didn't work for me, but I'll stay hopeful and try again.Bluetooth connection - An absolute surprise. Mind blown. I was absolutely expecting to walk out the door and have constant drops. With my Sandisk, if I had it clipped (RIP clip) to the back of my shorts and bent over to re-tie my shoes, signal lost. It got to the point where I had it clipped (again, RIP clip) to the back of my hat, eliminating the whole point of wireless headphones. I tried the Wiwoo all over my body (everywhere.) and never lost signal once. This is helped by the fact that Airpods and Powerbeats have some of the best connections of the various wireless headphones I've used, but this thing blows the Sandisk away, no comparison. Even with the poor Audiobook support, this redeems the Wiwoo. Wiwoo. Wiiiiiwoooooo.THE CLIP - The whole reason for getting this was to replace the Sandisk cause of the broken clip. While I'm not too big on the cheap feels of the buttons, the clip feels very secure and requires a good bit of pressure to open up. I tried it all over my body (everywhere.) and the clip stayed stable. I was a bit worried with it on the waistband of my shorts; it's so small that the clip only comes halfway down the band, not being able to grip onto the 'ledge' of the waistband, if that makes sense. But I ran the last three miles or so like that, all sweaty and it didn't have any trouble. It's so light that I didn't feel it and actually panicked because I thought it had fallen off, but nope, still there.Areas for improvement - The menu function. Good god, it's 2019. If you're an old person like me and remember back when MP3 players came out, the menu interface will feel like home. I was a big proponent of the minidisc (it's coming back, promise), and the menu on that thing was better than this. Between truncating file names, 18 steps to get to a function such as bluetooth then return, and the lack of a 'lock button' function, it's feels like they were aiming for 'good enough.' Waterproofing - Make the buttons less 'wiggly' and maybe more rubbery so there is less of a chance for sweat/water to come on in. Port covers for the headphone and microusb ports. Audiobook function - Please make a firmware update adding a separate audiobook/podcast function better suited for that use.Things I didn't try - pedometer, FM radio, watch bandAnyways, I'm pleasantly surprised by this, primarily the bluetooth connection and the form factor/clip for running. If things change, I'll add on here, but for half the price of the Sandisk Clip+, this is a great option for bluetooth music while running.

Great! I Love It (Once I Had a Little Practice)
I have not owned a "smart watch" so, when the wiiwoo player arrived and I tried to set the date and time I thought, "This is too hard to adjust". It took more than a few minutes for me to be comfortable navigating the the menu. I was ready to click the "return" button on the order. Then, I watched an un-boxing video a couple of times and I got the hang of navigation. Now, I love it!It synced with my Anker Liberty Neo wireless ear phones right away. They are blue tooth 5.0. I think it can accommodate blue-tooth 3, 4, and 5. It sounds great! It does not have an adjustable equalizer but does have an equalizer that can adjust to the general type of music you're playing. I have some $9 Panasonic wired earphones I use to listen to FM radio on it. It seems to need the wire as an antenna. The battery lasts for days. I am not sure how many because it has charged each time I've attached it to my pc to move music and podcasts to it. I got a 64 gb micro sd card for the podcasts. I plan to add digital books to the card as soon as I master the method to convert them to mp3. The only thing about the card is that it pops out and flies several feet if it don't push it with just the right pressure to eject it.

2 days so far and no issues. I'm loving my Wiwoo!!!
Why I Bought Wiwoo:I need music during exercising and a pedometer to make sure I get my 10,000 steps in.I am tired of paying high dollar for my Fitbits and they keep dying on me. I also got tired of hauling a bulky phone around with me strapped to my arm or hip for music during my runs and in the gym.I've tried out the Wiwoo for 2 days so far and here's my take.Wiwoo Positives:First it wouldn't detect my Bluetooth headphones. I found out it was because I had the headphones paired with my cellphone at the same time. Once I turned off my cellphone Bluetooth, no issues at all.I tried 2 other kinds of Bluetooth headphones that I have in the house and they all paired right away.I have a very slim wrist and was worried about it looking very bulky but my Wiwoo is really light and doesn't get in the way at all.I have sensitive skin and usually react to wrist straps but I went on a run outdoors in the heat today and didn't have any problems. Before I started my run, I turned on my pedometer and watched it while I walked the first 50 yards. Seems to work just fine. This product is nothing fancy, not waterproof, not heavy duty and stuff like that but it's really good deal for the price.Wiwoo Negatives:I wish I had the opportunity to purchase colorful straps for it.

Worth the price, with a couple of issues
Overall this is a very good player for the price, durable and functional. Battery life and sound quality are more than decent. My only complaints: (a) I have a lot of FLAC and OGG files, and playback for these (and some others) is not supported via Bluetooth but only out the audio jack. (Why would this be, especially given that OGG and MP3 have such similar encoding profiles and file sizes?) (b) File transfer is agonizingly slow, even using adapted USB C or A-3.0 output. If you are planning on filling the player, it will take at least overnight; if you are able to fill the mini SD card directly instead of through the player, do so. Given the file transfer speed I've experienced (and I've tried 3 different computers and operating systems, and all of their various USB ports) it would take a continuous week to fill a 128G SD card through the player. Fill this player with your favorites, because you won't have enough time to replace them very often.
