These ankle socks are medium weight and very stretchy.

When I saw these I had to have them, some of my favorite paintings, the idea to make these was genius, and I was smart for buying them.

I love these artist socks. So glad to see them now in a short ankle sock. I am an art teacher and love giving these away as gifts to my friends. I also like wearing them to show off my art history knowledge. They are very comfortable and a good decent weight to them the value for what you pay to get all of these socks is awesome. I will say if you have long toenails be carefulI have a size 8 1/2 foot and there is plenty of root for people with larger feet.

...they get holes in the toes within a couple washes, but I guess I should have expected that for the price/quantity. Colorful and stretchy, but thin.
