SLICK DEVIL Firm Hold Semi Matte Pomade 4 oz

The product does not spread well as you rub it in your hands (too waxy for a water-based). It is difficult to apply and rough on your hair (lots of pulling and tugging). The smell is terrible like play doh (not vanilla tobacco). The hold is nothing special. If you want a heavy hold WB, I recommend JS Sloane. I can't picture myself finishing this product, probably gonna trash it. :(

I like this pomade but its not worth the hype. The hold is okay and its very sticky when you try to style your hair. The smell is very strong thats the only thing I really like about it. I have real thick curly hair so this pomade is not for my type of hair. I used Layrite and shiner gold strong hold and its actually better than this pomade. I'd recommend this pomade if you have straight hair, But for thick curly hair I wouldn't recommend it.

definitely a matte pomade, the smell doesn't resemble vanilla but I didn't buy it for that. hold is pretty spot on too.

Seems like it works well but doesnt comb well and is impossible to re comb after product is in your hair even with water. It combs out it comes out like eraser shaving. And the hold is weak Dosnt last 12 hours unless you use half the product Worst product I've ever used.

I really like the way this smells and so does my wife. I heard about this pomade from my friend and I have been looking for one that was strong enough to hold my thick hair all day and this did not let me down. I also really like that it has more of a matte finish as I am not one for the shiny or greasy look.

Great hold but gets hard and applying it to your hair is rough
