ACDelco Gold 252-846 (19195105) Engine Water Pump

Fit my 1999 Pontiac Firebird Formula 5.7L LS1 perfectly. Bought this water pump in December 2022 and installed it right away. It's now November 2025 (about 3 years later). Had no issue with the install. Fits well. Seals well. I've driven my car about 10K miles total over the past few years. No issues. No leaks. Happy so far. I live in the greater phoenix area where we don't have much corrosion from salt, water or humidity.

Nice OEM pump delivered quickly at a good price. Install was without drama and it works perfect. If your serpentine belt is rather new and you don't need to replace it, be sure to remove it completely from the car......if you get coolant on the belt it will squeak and then you will have to replace it.

This OEM AC Delco water pump fit my 2004 C5 Corvette perfectly and was about $200 cheaper than the same part from the big box auto parts stores. It came with all the gaskets needed for install. Not included was new bolts or thermostat housing but that was expected. Reuse your old thermostat housing and bolts or purchase those separately. Thermostat housing gaskets were included. Great quality part.

So I bought this for my 2005 CTS-V, recently bc I was suffering through coolant leaks and the water pump seemed to be the source of it, not to mention it had a lot of miles on it. Just gonna say this, it works. All the hose fittings, bolts, gaskets, everything fits. However, the only issue is that it's going to be an EXTREMELY tight fit, and it's all because of the pulley. The pulley on this one is extraordinarily thicker than the original one that came from the V, so expect to cut a bit of the rear fan cover off. Apart from that, it works perfectly, haven't had any leaks and the coolant's staying cool for LS6 standards. Only giving this 4 stars from a CTS-V owner just because of that huge pulley. If it were slimmer, would have given it 5 :)

Got the ACDelco Gold 252-846 engine water pump for my car last month. Finally installed it this weekend, and I'm happy with how it's performing. It was a breeze to set up, even for someone like me who's not very car-savvy. I was actually procrastinating on some work when I decided to write this review. So far, so good - the pump seems to be working well and keeping my engine cool. Definitely a good buy for car maintenance!

a little damage to upper coolant hose inlet! But i was able to repair it! Great water pump for corvette!

Feels like quality, shipped in a tough box. No shipping damage and the gaskets were perfect. Fit my 2000 corvette and worked with no leaks out of the box.

I have an older LS6 Cadillac CTS-V that goes through water pumps every few years, not sure why. Doesn't matter if I get an OEM or aftermarket. I now treat water-pumps as consumables / regular maintenance every 3-5 years. These water pumps are inexpensive and I've learned to swap them in less than an hour.

Fit perfect on 1997 Corvette, cam with everything you would need, AC Delco quality all the way. Water pump was 500 at the dealership, picked it up here for 149 with FREE shipping...can't beat it.
