Great size for baking recipes that call for melted butter or shortening that you don't want splattering in your microwave. Super easy to clean with non-stick interior.

I really like this melting pot. It’s holds about a pound of wax. Super easy to clean and wipe out any left over wax. Once all wax is removed, you can put it in the dishwasher to remove any additional scent unlike the other large aluminum pots that are a nightmare to clean out.The only downside, wax will drip/run down the side of the pot when pouring.

I’m a candle making novice and was having a terrible time before I ordered this; wax was being spilt and clean up was a nightmare. This melts the wax evenly, pours well, and clean up is a breeze.

It’s a good wax melting pot however, the handle gets hot and the spout doesn’t pour all that well. I had a lot of wax pour down the side instead of into the cup when I was trying to pour slowly.

We did melt and pour soap. No double boiling. We melted it right on the stove top in this pitcher. Easy pour and we stirred until it all melted. Super easy and didn't burn. Used white goats milk soap.

I do not think they should advetize this for candle making or soap making. Anything with hot liquid that makes a huge mess.I did not test it first. When I poured, wax went all over the place. I believe th spout is to small sonot went straight down the side...on the counter, on the candle holder.I am returning it. It is used but cleaning up the mess alone was worth the $16 back.
