Believe the reviews!
The only positive is it was easy toassemble, but questioned even using it. There were multiple gold dots missing, but found in the package so I was able to tape them back on in. My cake was extremely small ( 5 ") so it did hold it but extremely flimsy. I was disappointed with the product but should've believed the reviews.

Not worthy of what you would use it for
I was very disappointed in this item. I wanted a little something to help display cupcakes for my daughter's farm birthday party, and was okay with cardboard to do so. BUT I was anticipating nice sturdy cardboard that wouldn't be falling apart. A section of the 'scallop' cover was missing and the 'stand' piece was bent and the two sections of cardboard were separated. I tried fixing it with some Elmer's and tape but if you want something to nice up your party, this honestly didn't feel up to the task.

Does the job but it had fold crinkles in the middle of the plate
Does the job, easy to assemble but had fold lines on the main plate. Most of them were covered with the cake though so we could use it for the occasion.
