The Tooth Mouse

My daughter is at the age where she's starting to lose her baby teeth, so when I saw this book, I thought it would be a perfect bed time story book for her. And indeed it was! She loved it! The drawings are lovely and the story is so cute. There are many words in French woven into the story, which makes it even more adorable. For those who don't know French, it is still easy to figure out what the words mean. Mon dieu; buy this book! :)

This is a beautifully illustrated book with a cute story of a little mouse who is trying to become the next tooth mouse and the tasks she must complete for the job. It gives children a sence that not only the biggest strongest or the oldest come out on top, that the little guy could do just as well. And I loved the surprise ending.

Beautiful book with some French words in it. The Tooth Mouse is what the French use as the Tooth Fairy.

I didn't realize that in other parts of the world there were other beings than tooth fairies. This is a nice change.
