These are strange things but my daughters love them. They come in one ball of matted fluff which you soak and manipulate in water then it unravels into a teddy that looks like it belongs strapped to the front of a bin lorry.It has scraggly hair and a brush but they are nice looking and my 7, 5 and 8 year olds carry them around, sleep with them and constantly wash and brush them. They are expensive and not worth the money but the kids love them so we buy them anyway!

They might not be the best quality ever, but they are so fun to rescue and the finished result is super! With little outfits for the babies and a collar for the parent, these Adorable Scruff a luvs are well worth everything! Would definitely buy again.

We’ve had two sets of these (one last year at £30ish and another set this week, a different animal, at around £22).My child was super pleased with the item, having wanted it for ages. But the cost for what it is, is really silly. £30 basically for a soft toy and two tiny ones, of no particular quality overall, is really steep. Kids like the activity element (ie wash it and dry it etc) but if you picked these toys up off the shelf for £30 you’d put them back! Child is happy, therefore that’s how the cookie crumbles, but these items should cost less.The panda one we have received this week (for my other child) has gone down really well, she’s chuffed to bits with it even though it doesn’t in my eyes appear to be much! Better price though this time around.

I have to say I think these creatures look bedraggled even when preened to perfection by my kids. However they love them. The washing and revealing function is really fun and they take them in the bath again and again.

Not worth the money but the child loved it

DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE ADVERTS OR THE PICTURES - No matter what you do, your Scruff-a-luv will never look as cute or as fluffy as the advets.As a plush toy, this is absolutely terrible.The babies are of the poorest quality you could imagine and the Mum is as flat as a pancake with virtually NO stuffing in the arms or legs and has a completely 2D face despite my numerous and vigorous attempts to reshape it, but I guess this is how they managed to pack it into such a tight ball!My Daughter loved it and very much enjoyed the excitement of washing it and discovering which animal she had rescued, but as a toy, it is terrible and it now seems to have taken up permanent residence under her bed...I have actually made some small incisions in the back of the arms and legs so I can put more stuffing in to fill it out a bit.It is quite good fun during the bathing process, but I would say that's it - You're paying for the novelty and not the toy, and it's quite an expensive novelty!

My nieces absolutely love this toy. The process is fun and exciting to see if they have twins or triplets and even babies that come with them ! The look scruffy but they are loved.

I bought this item for a friend's daughter's birthday. (She'll be 7 on August 1). The daughter that is not the friend.I haven't opened it yet but I bought the child a Scruff-a-Luv for Christmas last year (2019) and the child was reportedly 'thrilled to bits' with it.I'm assuming this latest Scruff-a-Luv will provoke a similar reaction.

In der Badewanne entfalten sie sich. Süße Idee. Hat meiner 8jährigen Tochter und auch ihrer Freundin gut gefallen. Das Fell hatte nach dem Trocknen allerdings verklebte Stellen, wo sich das Fell nicht durchbürsten lässt. Das trübte die Freude ein wenig. 2 Tage später beachtete sie das neue Plüschtier schon nicht mehr. Somit kurzweiliger Spaß, der als Geschenk aber durchaus gut ankommt

nicht schön- gleicht eher einem Wischmopp- aber mit dem Drumherum für mein Kind jetzt das zweitwichtigste Stofftier der Sammlung an Hausgenossen. Aus Kindersicht also 5 Punkte
