Gets a little warm in use, but works well.
Ever since I was issued a new Mac Book Pro at work, that doesn't have any regular USB ports, only four USB-C ports, I have been dealing with an adapter to hook up my flash drive. When I saw this item, I knew I wanted to get one. Not only does it have a USB-C connector, it also has a standard USB port. The device has a hinged cover, so you can choose to either protect the USB-C port or the standard port, but not both at once. I usually choose to keep the USB-C port protected so it doesn't get bumped or bent.In operation, the drive works great on both ports. It does, however, get quite warm while being used. A lot warmer than I expected. It doesn't seem to affect the operation, though.I would probably buy one of these again and I would recommend it to anyone who has a machine that only has USB-C ports.

Does The Job
I like the flash drive because I can use it with my MacBook or with a regular usb port. My main complain that I absolutely do not like is how hot the little piece gets. The longer I use it, the hotter it gets. Yesterday (September 10, 2019) I ejected it and went to put it in my backpack and it was almost too hot to hold in my hand. I don't know if this is a manufacturing defects with mine or an overall flaw for the product. I probably won't return it because it is so useful for me to use for school. I just really hate that it overheats.

Rarely Works
This flash drive was the worst waste of money for me this year. Initially, it worked fine. For about two weeks, maybe. Then the problems started. When I plugged it into my laptop, it wouldn’t be recognized. It wouldn’t show up. I switched it between all 4 ports in my MacBook Pro. Sometimes it would show up, sometimes it wouldn’t. That was super frustrating, but maybe it was something to do with my laptop. But I bought it specifically because my laptop only has type c ports, so that kinda defeats the purpose. When I plugged in my old flash drive using an adaptor, it worked perfectly every time. Since it only worked sometimes, I started using it less, reverting back to a smaller flash drive with less capacity where I had to use an adaptor. Then came the physical problems. As you can see it the second picture, the electrical components started coming out of the housing. I only had it on a keychain, not treating it unreasonably and this is what happened. So now it’s totally unusable since it’s falling apart. And even if it didn’t fall apart, it seems now it usually doesn’t show up when plugged in. So what a waste of $20. Even worse is that I thought I would get the bigger size since this is my main flash drive I carry everywhere. What an extra waste of $8. I never got to use the extra capacity I paid for.

Very nice design. Stopped working in 6 months of very light usage
TL/DR: Don't buy it. It won't last long.Good:Design. Let's start with the positive. This is a nice design in that it is small, fits well without taking up much room. The swivel feature is nice and locks into one side or the other. It looks good and fulfills being USB-A and USB-C.Bad:Heat. It gets very hot. Not heat transfer from the host since I put this on iPad Pro and it heated up connected to that too and the iPad is NOT warm at all. I also put it on the charge port of the iPad Pro keyboard which is nothing more than USBC charging pass-through so no heat there at all and it gets hot. Metal housing may not help but not sure. Probably gets so hot it does itself damage as discussed next...Endurance. It stopped working 6 months after I bought it. I put it away and then tried reformatting everything a month later. That worked for a bit but then again it wasn't readable after a few uses. I only use this as a fun little toy to install an OS or occasional file transfer in a meeting so it's not a big deal but it shouldn't suck.It sucks in the end.

Great product:
It is very fast to transfer files from my phone to this device, it feels very durable for the price. Just for what I baught and was told I was getting and was expecting it's 5/5 stars, a great way to improve this item is if they added a rubber male dust/water protector plug for the USB male connection and a rubber male plug for the male type C connection. The reason I say male plug is because a female plug could be removed accidently, vs a male plug would require more work to remove. More work I wouldn't mind, but if other do then they don't have to use the covers. That would protect your files even more on this already amazing device, that would give you more peace of mind.

Works with iOS 13
So far this is working on the iPad Pro running iOS 13 Beta 2. It's a nice small device that is good to keep in my bag that can be used with my MacBook Pro and iPad Pro. The cover seems kind of flimsy but even it if broke off it wouldn't effect the usability of the device. If you need an inexpensive USB 3 thumb drive this is a good choice.

Easy Wirefree file transfer between USBC & USB devices
Its very easy to use this Pen Drive.Very handy.1. Not too big. Easy to operate and switch the USB Mode between regular and USB C.2. Swivel operation of the drive is very smooth.3. Storage capacity is 60 Gigs.4. The drive is easily detected by our Google PIxel 2 & One Plus 6T devices as well as by our Dell & lenovo Laptops.5. File transfer is now easy among these devices and make it wirefree. That's what we wanted. These pictures in this review are captured using phone and then transferred to laptop using this Pen Drive itself. Earlier it was tough for me to transfer images using the wire as sometimes wire connection could be disturbed and the whole transfer needs to be initiated again.Super happy with our purchase and perfect one for our needs.
