Know the threads on your pole!
Bought this sander and thought it would fit on one of my many course threaded painting poles. It did include an adapter so I thought I was all set. The adapter threads into the sander and the adapter has a course threaded male end. All the painting poles also have a male end so the adapter was uselessI ended up getting the Sheetrock sander (for $5 more) which had the course threads to receive a standard painting pole with no adapter. The interesting thing is that the sanders are exactly the same except for the threads that connect to the sanding pole.If you have fine threaded pole this sander is excellent, but the course threaded Sheetrock version worked for my poles.

Professional tool for the non-professional
Been putting up with the Home Depot special for years. Then saw this recommended by "The Vancouver Carpenter" in his youtube channel. Did'nt know what I was missing until I tried this. Mostly no more flipping during sanding. It's still a bit difficult sanding ceilings though, but I'm not sure anything can make sanding easier. I actually have one of those Porter Cable automatic drywall sanders, but I can't hold it flat and level enough against the ceiling for the final sanding.

Solid build but poor qa on attachment thread.
This is generally really well made but it was let down by a poor thread on the attachment. 3 different standard poles wouldn’t go in without cross-threading.

Very good product.
Works very well. Very easy to use for a perfect sand.

Flip free!
Way better than the cheap plastic one I bought at Lowes. This one doesn't flip over at all. Great product

Is like $10 more expensive than the one from Lowe's and don't come with a extension pole!
Looks like is made of high quality material, this is perfect for sanding walls before painting!

Not easy to work with
Not easy to work with. Understood the design but more arm work needed. Had to use a hand sander instead
