Excellent Tablet PC
I purchased two of these, as well as one of a different brand all about the same time. The two Dragon Touch 10.1" tablets work very well, fast and smooth even with 3d video games, they connect easily to WiFi, download speed is quite fast, streaming is great, video resolution is very good and clear. They are nearly as good in some ways as an IPad, better in others such as the ability to insert a micro sd card, and although I have not used the feature you can connect to your television via hdmi. The model I purchased doesn't have Bluetooth, but for a couple of dollars more they make one that does. Sound quality is acceptable, but quite low. I believe the one with Bluetooth has better.

A great tablet at an unbelievable price!
OK update to my previous update: 07/03/2015I found a company in China, AC Tablet Wholesale, and found the replacement. It's a:Touch Screen Replacement for Dragon Touch A1X Plus 10.1" Inch Quad Core Tablet PC Version Model 7 for $27.99 w/free shipping. It arrived through Singapore Post in 13 days as promised.First you have to remove the 2 small screws holding the cover in place...then remove the cover...the rest is fairly straightforward and not to time consuming. Just be sure you have the right tools. A precision screwdriver set is perfect for the small screws inside.Remove the Copper tape and the black tape holding some of the components and don't lose the screws or little plastic clamps!I bought a roll ProTapes Pro 950 Polyimide Film Tape and a roll of 3M electrical Super 33+ black tape (higher temperature tolerance than regular black tape) to use in taping the things down that needed taping.Actually the hardest thing to do was separating the touchscreen cover from the original touchscreen, it's held in place by some serious 3M adhesive. The replacing was actually pretty easy and just reconnect everything as it was before...just keep the screen clean and free of dust, pet hair and other airborne critters. ☺All in all it took me about 2½ hrs which for me is good for these Parkinsonian hands.I turned it on and ta da it's working well!I'm still a little vexed at how easy it was for the screen to break but I'll up the rating back to 4 stars.I've taken precautions now with a little extra cushioning in the case for protection.________________________________________________________________________________________________________Well shoot. As happened to another poster my wife had the same thing happen to her Saturday afternoon. The tablet fell off the end table, my son knocked it off. It fell about 2' and was in the Tabsuit PU Leather Keyboard Case we bought for it but the side of screen cracked from the upper right hand corner down to 2" to the left of the lower right hand corner. The glass cover didn't break but it was the touchscreen portion. The unit turns on but does nothing else.I'm disappointed that the tablet would break so easily especially inside its case.I'm take a off 3 stars..you'd think it would be more resilient. As a comparison I have a Kindle Fire 7" HDX and it fell off the top of my truck and skidded across our driveway without a scratch or dent.____________________________________________________________________________________________________________This item arrived yesterday and I couldn't be happier with the purchase.I bought the Dragon for my wife who while laptop experienced hasn't had many dealings with tablets. Even her cellphone is your basic phone not a smartphone. I wanted something that would be easy for her to use and learn. This tablet certainly foots that bill.I took the tablet out of the box and followed the directions of letting it charge for 10 hours. Then this morning I powered it up and was immediately impressed with the screen and the touchscreen usability.I bought a San Disk Ultra 32GB UHS-I/Class 10 Micro SDHC card and installed it into the slot...then I connected the tablet to our home network and that was flawless.I then installed some more Apps that I new my wife would like, then asked her if there was anything she would like and installed those. There were a few system updates but those didn't take long to complete.I then turned the tablet over to my wife, with a touch pen, showed her what Apps did what and let her have at it.I can't explain how happy she has been with it these last 3 hours! I will however have to explain that there are more things to a tablet than Angry Birds and Candy Crush. '

Wonderful and handy device
I bought this to be used by my teenage son. Of course, my husband and I had to go thru the system and check the apps on it and see just how user friendly it really is. It connected to the wi-fi quickly and it stays connected. The sound quality is okay, but remember it is a budget tablet. Like other reviewers said, do not expect this to compare to a Samsung or iPad device in some aspects (especially picture quality on the camera). I will say it is more user friendly than an iPad. My son had use of one last year for school that was issued by the school, but had to be returned at the end of the school year. I have an iPad issued to me by my employer, but that is for work purposes only. The screen is very responsive. I loved that Google play was pre-installed. We downloaded the Word app on it for him for school work. He installed Kik on it for chatting with his friends. YouTube plays fine on it. Google Music plays fine on it as well. So, for the purposes of browsing the web, doing some shopping, listening to music, messaging, email, light word processing... it works great. It was no need for me to invest in an iPad when this does the same things he did in school last year. The reason why I am not giving it a 5 star review is because I'm still trying to get around not accidentally taking a picture while trying to swipe the screen unlocked. From other reviews, I see I'm not the only one with this issue. I delete the pictures and keep it moving. In all, I would repurchase this device.

Pretty nifty if you don't need interconnectivity
I didn't have mine for long enough to make any worthwhile remarks on the software, but I did have some observations on the hardware. There have been a number of negative comments about resolution, but I was quite pleased with it. It's maybe a tad worse res than my Samsung, which is to say, it looks pretty great for the price. It was fast and responsive, and the touchscreen worked well. It comes with a little over 5GB of free space. Although the display area is very slightly longer and narrower than a Samsung 10.1", it fit in a generic case. There seems to be some confusion about USBs on this model. What it has is a little slave mode USB connector, like you find on a digital camera. This allows you to hook it up to a computer and do things with it via that computer, but its interface isn't really any different from a digital camera. If you put an adapter on it, I don't think it can work with another USB device. For that, you need a host-mode USB, like you find on computers, USB hubs, or some pricier tablets. Bluetooth can do the same job as far as a lot of peripherals are concerned, but this model doesn't have that either.I think this tablet looks like a fantastic deal if you will never need to hook it up to a peripheral device, only to a computer. I really needed something that could work with a keyboard, so ended up returning it in favor of Dragon Touch that had Bluetooth, but would recommend this model to those who don't need that degree of interconnectivity.
