This book is game changing. It has opened my eyes to several issues I had left unadressed and shown me how to approach my heart. I've already bought like 6 copies, and I plan on reading this each year.I also want to make it clear that I'm a man, but this book is still so good. I cannot recommend this book enough regardless of your gender. Men - you get can get over cover, if not just hid it away in your room or claim a significant female in your life is reading it.

Love her books. Practical advice for walking the Christian woman’s walk

This book is written for a slightly older heterosexual female Christian demographic. It is well written and includes quotes and references to other great books and stories. The author really encourages you to make sure you are living a life that is meaningful and true to who you are. She asks you if you are currently doing what you were born to do. She has a way of saying things and posing questions that make you stop and think, "holy cow, am I really doing what I was born to do?' Or did I end up where it was expected or easiest. I have given this book to various women friends, even those who are not Christians, and they have all absolutely LOVED it.

I am only partway through this book, but I'm loving it. I'm finding that it truly touches the deep places of my heart, encouraging me to draw closer to God and trust Him more.Unfortunately, the Kindle version has multiple errors. Twice so far I've found the word "God" replaced with "Cod." That's a terrible image to have popping up in your head as you're reading something profoundly spiritual! There's another place in the text where I'm sure at least an entire line has been omitted. I hope there will be an updated version with corrections!

This book really is extremely helpful to bring your heart back to the things that really matter. I’m doing this study with two friends and we are all benefitting a lot from it. It’s amazing how biblical this book is even though it doesn't quote so many bible verses. The truths from the bible are just interwoven in the message. What my friends and I like to do is share bibleverses that we ourselfes found that fit into the topic. I especially like the chapter about vulnerability and forgiveness.

Women who long to be released from the burden of hard choices and an empty spiritual life will be empowered to rediscover dreams. This book will help women to approach life as something to be lived, not merely survived. This book will also help you recognize non biblical habits you may have developed and use instead of truth that's found in the Bible.

Well written book for all women seeking to grow and improve themselves and their relationships. Helpful study questions in back of book for each chapter makes this a good option for group study.

I highlighted so much in this book because there is just so much great information!! This book got to the central issues of a woman's heart and then brought freedom to those central issues. If you are a woman and have been hurt sometime in your life, I highly recommend this book. Who hasn't been hurt in life and has chosen to hide part of their heart!?! This book helps release your heart to fully live life with God's help.
